Site traffic is down, time spent on the app has tracked downward all year, the app is sinking on the download charts, more people are using the Samsung Clock app, and Musk is fudging the numbers of users and posts. Oldschool Twitter used a conservative estimate for the numbers of daily active users that could be monetised. Musk of course isn't making such distinctions and is bragging about the biggest numbers he can get... which are about the same as the old conservative estimates.
