Oh. I think we've been here before.
It felt like graffiti on the starscape when those Starlink satellites went up. I saw one of those strings before I knew what they were and thought WWIII was under way.

And I don't think he has to fake everything to be a fraud. Some things are unnecessary to fake. In fact, if he doesn't fake one or two things, it makes the rest of it all the more believable.

Yep, Musk being an idiot who is mismanaging Twitter and posting a lot of dodgy right-wing shit on the platform he owns isn't new news anymore, it's just the way things are.

This tweet, for example, would probably have been much bigger news a month or two ago, now it's mostly "meh, Musk is saying stupid shit again."

It’s ‘following’ now. Tbh I think this is better, as it’s now only one click to reach your own curated feed, it used to be two (Click on stars then select ‘latest’)

It always defaulted to ‘top tweets’ before, so it’s not really any different to the ‘for you’ appearing as default.

Setting up the narrative so when some federal agency (I dare say he already has something in mind) inevitably has to investigate or prosecute Twitter he can claim it's all political persecution.

Nah, they did it every now and again but not every single time you logged in. I mean, its literally a click but still annoying.

Always did for me over the last year or so, using safari. I think it was actually a musk tweet (pre takeover) that made me aware that you could pick ‘latest tweets’ to see stuff from people you actually follow in a chronological order, one of the reasons I’d stopped using it was because it was a mess before this. I was tending just to click on people I follow to read their posts in order. So less annoying than it was from my perspective (though I have a slight suspicion the ’following’ feed isn’t showing me everything).

I keep seeing people say this but I'm still only seeing people I follow. :confused:

only log in every few days / week or so. Maybe the alterations are targeted at more active users.

It’s not the cryoballoons being ablated, the cryoballoons are doing the ablating.
It’s an ad for a gizmo to assist with cardiac arrhythmia surgery (by freezing rather than burning the heart tissue which is generating bad electrical signals).

Pretty niche market.

Seeing as the focus of that ad is on saving lab time, I’d sooner my next heart surgeon was working in a socialised healthcare system that focused on long term clinical results rather than getting paid again when I come back for another go.
