How do you have your kebab?

Ordered dinner from my (Bodrum Kebab) local.

Bodrum Special
Double donner, lamb shish, lamb kofte and chicken shish with chilli sauce, salad and two pitta breads.

Delivered which is a bonus. All the elements are in foil containers so nothing is hot/cold/soggy which is how it should be.

Perfect dinner for this hot weather

I can't actually describe how jealous I am right now. But you clearly need to do it a oner.

I was hoping for Mexican Street food from a local community pub, but he was finishing off when we got there. Next pub had also just stopped serving food and the chip shop was shut. OH will not eat kebab, but thought I'd found a win with a place that served chicken tikka in naan, but she pulled a face. So I'm currently heating Aldi pizza's :(

My local Indian takeaway has started doing kebabs and they are doing something called an Al Fahad Feast.

It's chicken tikka, lamb tikka and donner meat all stir fried in tikka masala sauce, served on the naan bread of your choosing and accompanied with salad and mint yoghurt dip.. Absolutely phenomenal stuff.

I had a posh kebab at some food thing recently, I had to have chicken shish cos they ran out of lamb and it cost £15 for two (not both for me I hasten to add) but was fucking great. Red cabbage and some other stuff, big arse chilli in it, garlic sauce. No choice given, it was just served that way. Was ace.

Anyone tried this?

German Doner Kebab - there's one in West Ealing, and I tried it. It's OK.

No, being fair, the pitta bread was absolutely delicious - it was really tasty on its own, much better than the normal stuff. It was not naan - it kind of reminded me of what Pizza Hut deep pan pizza bases used to taste like years ago

But everything else - meat, sauces, was really nothing special. Not worth the extra price, unless the decent seating / clean loos is worth it for you
