I keep a jar at home in the fridgeNone of the kebab places round here do the big pickled chillies. Come to think of it, I've only seen them a couple of times in Scottish kebaberies , most places up here don't have them.

Let me check. They are medium length rather than the full kebab shop deal but do the job.The really nice long pale green ones? Can I ask what the brand is, as I'd like to see if I can order some online. The shops near me don't go much beyond Old El Paso sliced jalapeno's in the pickled chilli stakes.
miss direct What is an iskender? I bet I'd like itI have never eaten a kebab in the UK. But in Turkey, my favourites are:
iskender (extremely unhealthy and best only ever eaten once every five years)
pistachio
occasionally chicken shish
Better choice at UK restaurants in terms of sauces and vegetarian/vegan options.
