I can't really believe it! They are playing from May right through to July- US then Uk then Europe......its just they really are getting on a bit now.

Went to see Shovel Dance Collective last night, first night of their tour. If they're coming anywhere near you I fully recommend it, a great live experience. They're in Hebden Bridge on Monday but beyond that not sure.

Melvins sold out in Bristol and I haven't got a ticket 😢

I was thinking about going to see them in Newcastle- (cus I'd just like to go to Newcastle and go out) but it doesn't work with my shift pattern and I can't get A/L.

Oh shit - bummer....

I was dithering on tickets for the Brighton show but just got them in case it sells quickly too....

Ex-Void doing a mini-tour finishing at Dulwich Hamlet stadium:

Turns out they had an album out last year.

Their album from last year is really really good pop, I would definitely recommend seeing them if you like pop music n that:

Well, I think I'm going to a gig tonight... but I've a strong suspicion I've got a fake ticket. Better bring a good book for the tube ride. 😔

I'm meant to be off to see both Comet is Coming and the Hold Stready in Nottingham tonight. I don't quite know if I can be arsed at the moment, what with the possibilities of cancellations, arriving home at 1am afterwards and needing to be up at 5.30 for a flight that I might well not be able to get to and/or might well be cancelled anyway. :(

It sounds like an all or nothing situation!

klang did you go? sly and family drone were not quite the amazing force of nature they have been every other time, I think their amps weren't working properly or something and only 1 drummer and the sax was a bit too much louder than everything else... still good tho.

Enjoyed Biig Piig last night. Her vocals didn't shine that well in a small, bassy venue, but she has a load of charisma and energy. Her young fans really seem to love her. I was one of maybe only four oldies there, and one of them was playing chaperone to kids...

Didn't in the end, thanks for asking. Bit of a complicated evening. TBH I have seen them a fair few times, so don't feel like I was missing out on too much. (I did a gig with them at the ICA, a live cassette is available via them, if interested)
