Changing the facts
yes, same here.
My ear canal as are absurdly narrow. That was the other thing that sent me to the modded ones. All the off the shelf ones don’t fit me.
yes, same here.
Cheers, I did see those when I was half-arsedly reading through reviews before giving up and asking on here but the loopy bits looked kinda bulky and I wasn't sure how well they'd suit my mangled ear cartilage.iona I see you've ordered something anyway but I was going to say I've got some Loop earplugs and find them really helpful for wearing if I'm going to be in a pub or other similar noisy environment where I'm going to be expected to follow conversation despite a lot of background noise. They're actually sold as gig earplugs that just turn it all down a bit but don't muffle the sound too much but they work really well for me as a sensory overload prevention aid iyswim

Depending on what you consider good, Big Joanie are playing Deaf Institute on the 17th, and Cool Greenhouse are playing Yes on the 20th?Any other good gigs coming up in Manchester?

Seeing them in LeedsEx-easter island head are playing a few shows - Cambridge this Friday night, Cafe Oto Saturday matinee and evening, then Brudenell in Leeds on 20th, Liverpool on the 27th: their current set is fantastic, highly recommended.
they played the grosvenor back in 2010 on a monday night, wild show, the kids couldn't believe they were on the same level as them with no security or barriers. No Age touring in March:

March 6th – The Cluny – Newcastle, UK
March 7th – The Pink Room / YES – Manchester, UK

One of my all-time greatest gig-miss regrets is not seeing them play a rollerdisco in Sheffield that must've been at around the same time.they played the grosvenor back in 2010 on a monday night, wild show, the kids couldn't believe they were on the same level as them with no security or barriers.
I wish I could get up for it, but my energy levels haven’t recovered enough for a midnight bus back from Leeds yet.Seeing them in Leeds
Love that there is no English flag for the Liverpool gigAlso seen Tokky horror are doing some gigs so that should be fun.

(not my horrible cropping on the flyer, that's how it looked on their insta page, bloody boomers)
I imagine the sold-out gig at Boom might be a good one, don't think I can be arsed with seeing them in a massive venue though.
Also, perhaps more excitingly, Napalm Death touring in March:
Think they'll have Dropdead and Siberian Meat Grinder supporting.
Wait, why is King Prince Charles getting involved in this? They've got Total Chaos supporting,
I went last night, TC are like the last thirty or forty years never happened. BF were decent, tho lacking in the attack they used to have and the singer is pretty meh.
Tickets are going for a fiver if you're subbed to HRH - a bit annoying after I'd paid £25, but hey ho. (that may only be for the O2 venues)
Why is the entire world touring in March? I have tickets to like ten different things already and I'd forgot about this till I saw your post. Also, perhaps more excitingly, Napalm Death touring in March:
