Hong Kong: what next?

Oops!

No evidence that her son, working as Gardiner’s diarist, knows anything?

Fucking! Bullshit!

This is deep infiltration.

Oops!

Wake! Up! Peeps!

MI5 has warned that Chinese government 'agent' has been 'active' in UK parliament, MPs told

This by and large appears to be an effort to distract from the ongoing woes of this corrupt an venal government (the one in the UK that is).

that's just tinfoil hattery

a cursory glance at the uk news media will show how ineffectively the lockdown regulation breaches, or royal sex crimes, or anything else has been taken off the agenda.

And now flights are being restricted..

"Hong Kong will suspend transit flights for a month from around 150 countries and territories considered high risk because of the coronavirus, deepening the global financial hub's isolation."

Frankly?

I blame the fucking watchmakers!

They're completely out to fucking lunch!

Heh!

Shit happens ...

Aaaaanyway ...

Be nice to each other peeps.

Bed now!

I'm under control, under control.

I am well sedated and permanently sick.

I'm under control, under control.

I don't care too much if I win or if I get tricked.

Too many East German, Stasi, types in my world.

Oh! And did I mention the fucking Nihilists?

Bleurgh!

Keep thinking, good Urbanites! 🐬

Night.

(Edit: Quick addition for clarity to the lyrics - listen to the fucking song, eh?!)

I like that song.

Singer sounds like a mixture of Justin Sullivan and Mark Chadwick.

Aye!

I leave it all untouched.

I leave it all untouched.

And I'm taking it all, from you.

I'll be either way, I'll be either way.

I didn't mean it.

I ran out of passion, yet carried the weight.

'Til the end when I bury myself.

Still under control.

I'm taking it all.

From you.

;)

(Night peeps. I love you. Rest well.)

Yup!

Completely subsumed and corrupted into the CCP, under the cover of Zero-Covid, in under two years.

Can't deny it's impressive!

Wake. Up. Peeps.

Love each other, please.

Night.

I think someone lost a bet in getting that, seeing how I’m pretty sure it’s a Tesla.

It could be a Tesla, there are quite a few. But even if it is, to me that just emphasises the popularity of this widespread slogan.

In my view, it was either a pure investment or a good investment that also resonates with the owners values and allows them to be broadcast in a unique and very public way.

It is, of course, entirely possible that such broadcast - while potentially and probably inevitably - profitable, may also carry with it other consequences unforeseen at the time of investment.

On a second look, it certainly is a Tesla, and my post needs to be read in the context of someone who had no idea about the phrase “add oil” in a HK context until a couple of posts later.

Heh!

It's been used for quite a few years now as an encouraging chant at sporting events and around any other achievements - or more importantly efforts - that people make (literally, adding oil to the fire of the effort,) and was rapidly taken up by the democracy movement and massively popularised during the 2019 anti-extradition protests.

"Gah Yah, Heung Gong Yan!" ("Add Oil, Hong Kong People!") was a rallying cry throughout 2019 and beyond.

The exegesis of the creation of the number-plate remains enigmatic.

The inevitable massive increase in value remains astronomical.

The potential political ramifications remain uncertain.

We are living in interesting times.

Eventually. When the US is unable to defend the West.

China is going to make the West pay.

The century of humiliation is going to come back to bite the West in the arse.
The Chinese economy is going tits and it's head of state feels threatened by Winnie the Pooh, so I don't feel the "Western" security is particularly under threat.

The threat is to the liberties of ordinary people in China and Hong Kong. Of course the West does pay for Chinese imports which improve the material quality of our lives but it also launders and hides cash of its kleptocrats

I hadn't heard the ,add oil, slogan before either.. what does it look like in Chinese letters?

gayau.png

During a marathon in October, police ordered runners to remove clothing with the slogan and cover up tattoos of it.

Love China/Chinese. Detest the CCP.

They're authoritarian, and don't attempt to hide it. A part of me thinks they're doing a controlled demolition to their economy. While the Wests' is crumbling, fast.

We have a few thousand years of history to understand what, evil, unaccountable governments are capable of. Today, Hong Kong, tomorrow, (insert location here)

And, personally, I think part of the reason governments are worried is;

Our collective thinking.

In the West, we think we're so unique and different from each other. But, we are not. We are all mongrels with common ancestors.

Also, there has been no other time in history like now. Technology has fried our little brains and revealed that we are actually all the same. Just with different ideologies. Governments don't like this.

We are more connected now, and this does frighten governments. But, only evil governments.

Think about it. I never have to leave my house. I can get anything ordered to my door. (I Think of the song "wicked and I'm lazy"). When in history could a human be so lazy and unproductive.

A good example is how we look at mental illness. We don't diagnose depression as having mind goblins anymore and treat it with, piss in the ear and a leech on the tongue.

These discoveries came from progression of thought and ideas, not denial of truth and reality.

Governments cannot have free thinking people, who, want, clean environments, healthy food, good opportunities. ETC

And, I know the Western countries have their issues. But, I don't have to worry about my government coming for me, for something as trivial as calling our leaders, well.. Pooh.

We are aware of what is happening around us and inside us and we are able to discuss this, without the fear of being arrested.

We have come such a long way and made massive strides in our progression as humans. But, we appear to be going backwards.

I also understand, that the West, you know.... brutalised the Chinese people. But they can have the Royal Family in my opinion.

But, I understand It is not black and white.

Also, who would actually fight a rich mans war today. Fak off.

On Saturday 15th Jan 2022, a thirteen year old boy left a discrete white plastic bag containing flowers at the spot where Marco Leung fell to his death in Admiralty 31 months previously (15th June 2019).

Cops surrounded, detained and interrogated him and, finally, issued him a $ 1,500 (@ GBP 150) fixed penalty fine for littering.

He wasn't littering. He knows this. The cops know this. Everyone knows this. Nobody would have have objected to or interfered with this tiny commemoration. It would simply have been noted and regarded in silence while passing by.

What it does emphasise, however, is not only how utterly pervasive the ongoing suppression is - throughout all elements of society from top to bottom and edge to edge - it also shows the ruthless, inane, petty, insidious and nasty nature of and, ultimately, the abject cruelty at the heart of this regime.

Killing the chicken to frighten the monkey.

In these difficult times, we should reach out to each other. We should try to bring some comfort. Some connection. Some solace. Some respite.

And although this song is a truly haunting mess and, in its own right, capable of precipitating suicidal thoughts and is thus highly dangerous.

It may nevertheless reach the parts that other cliches can't reach. Despite the danger, it touches those in despair. There are so many.

Everybody hurts. (Sometimes.)

Everybody cries. (Sometimes.)

Everybody hurts. (Sometimes.)

No! No! No! You're not alone!

Don't let yourself go.

Everybody knows.

Everybody hurts.

Sometimes.

Hold on.

Hold on.

Hold on.

Hold on.

The video is good too; their silent thoughts are subtitled, it's pretty cool.

Anyway peeps.

It's really hard.

Hold on.

Hold on.

Hold on.

Blessings to all.

Please remember to be gentle with yourselves.

And please remember to be nice to each other.

And please try to hold on.

Night.

And then watch the film again ...

And drift, and listen carefully to the music and lyrics as you focus on reading the subtitled underlying thoughts and appreciate the cinematography.

It's too painful.

It's too beautiful

Thank you, Michael Stipe for your contribution to this universe.
