Glastonbury 2022

Now this I would have loved.

IDLES played a surprise set at Glastonbury 2022 today (Saturday June 25), performing their debut album ‘Brutalism’ in full.

Taking to the stage in the 12.30pm slot on the BBC Introducing Stage, the Bristol band tore through the entirety of their 2017 debut, described at the time by NME as “an expletive-laden, punk triumph that tackles the current Tory rule, toxic masculinity and mental health.”

In my defence, there are lots of artists I don't like and wouldn't listen to, but I do get. I can see why people like Adele or Taylor swift or Lana Delray, even though I wouldn't personally listen.
It doesn’t reflect badly on you :D definitely a majority thing

I really don't understand what anyone gets out of Billy Eillish. So fucking dull. Not a single pop classic or even memorable tune.
I watched her last night, heard of her but never engaged with her music before. While I'm not sure if it's my thing, I thought she really was incredible- she can write, she has a lovely voice, she has stage presence. Pretty amazing for anyone let alone a 20 year old. She put me in mind of Lady Ga Ga.

Watching this Noel Gallagher thing where he's now resorted to playing Oasis songs. You can really see how much he needed his brother if not just for his voice but his stage presence. Noel's undoubtedly a fantastic songwriter but rockstar he aint.
