Never trust a 5 day forecast - accuracy drops to about 40%.

ANd oilskins? In 20+ heat? Are you MAD?

mad as a lorry, mate.

as any fule know cheap, breathable and lightweight waterproofs are widely available from any camping goods boutique worth its salt.

Is that observed or fact?

Handy fact if it is one

Met office admission from what I remember...could be wrong but it is a fact that accuracy in forecasting goes down the further you try and predict. IIRC they're right about 85% for the one day for any given region and it drops up to 3 days and then becomes a lot more unpredictable.

Confidence is moderate that the Glastonbury Festival will experiencely largely settled and fine conditions in association with the close proximity of a high pressure feature.
Nice word :D

I saw 'em for sale on Saturday for £7.
Bully for you :p What were they, size 14?
I spent 3 hours wandering round with my girlfriend (who was the silly sausage who was sans wellies), and the best that we could come up with was a pair a size too small for £40. That's what you get for sleeping in.

2 hours!!!! right got to do all those things JTG listed above :D
and wash and stash my pc and other kit........

in about 5 or 6 hrs i will be there :)

see ya at the cider bus/ dragon camp or prod or all of them!
woooohoooo

I'm still stuck at uni. I've got loads to do before going home, and then when getting home, I've got to pack!!! I really really need to make sure that I don't need to buy anything before the festival.

Right....

I picked up my citizenship card from the post office this morning.

I've just done my presentation at work which went fine.

I have now consumed a large glass of red wine.

I think its finally time for me to let myself get properly excited! :)

I leve work in 2hours (glares at clock to make it go faster)

I'm stll not very excited though :(

not sure, not as excited as I should be

maybe I need to do some warm up things to get me back in the mood :)

any suggestions?

*realises she'll meet AS at last :D*

I was thinking the same! :)
