George Osborne wriggles out of £1.6m taxes - make him pay here

Anyone got a summary of how - apart from the trust fund - he's avoiding paying this amount of tax? And what would be the consequences of blocking those tactics?

hasn't it struck you as odd that frogwoman hasn't defended herself from this claim of mine?

let me make a suggestion. why don't you go and PM her and let her confirm the accusation. when she does, why don't you
grow a pair and post an apology.

how does that grab yer?
you really are a vile piece of smearing scum, aren't you?
And, it would seem, a humourless and pig-ignorant one.
FTR, FROGGY was JOKING, in response to one of your typically - cosmically - fuckwitted assertions.
As an act of mercy, I'll save you from looking even more cretinous by repeating said assertion.

i don't know where you're from, but i'm sure this doesn't constitute an apology.

perhaps you should give it another go.

the lose of rich donors to the opposition party. over reliance on the deripaska's of this world (and even then it comes with strings attached).

Least we forget.
Nathaniel Rothschild: Letter to the Editor
The Times. October 21, 2008

I am surprised that you focus on the fact that one of my guests, Peter Mandelson, is a friend of another, Oleg Deripaska. Not once in the acres of coverage did you mention that George Osborne, who also accepted my hospitality, found the opportunity of meeting with Mr. Deripaska so good that he invited the Conservatives' fund raiser Andrew Feldman, who was staying nearby, to accompany him on to Mr. Deripaska's boat to solicit a donation.

i_got_poison you do your cause a disservice with your ill thought out comments.

Keep up the good work.

Their monopoly over ‘activism’.
So, a monopoly that doesn't actually exist, then.
I have a concern that 38 Degrees is an ineffective exercise in encouraging futile political behaviour...
Who are you to decide what is or isn't futile?
...that will have very will impact in the real world. It encourages pseudo-activity within on-line networks that does nothing to build a grass-roots campaign.
Please substantiate this claim.
e.g. they mass spam MPs, most I know simply have filters on their inboxes to dump 38degree emails into trash.
Mass mails cost fuck-all and take fuck-all time, so it's hardly a facet of their work that's wasteful of effort once their mailing database is set up.
I also have concerns regarding their use of the information they collect on people, in that they pass on statistical information to third parties which is valuable to political analysts.

If you have concerns after reading their privacy statement, then contact them and raise your concerns. better that than making idiotic statements
about them having a "monopoly".

a) I do/have done, for close to a decade, one way or another
b) link for admission of torydom please, I feel yet another of your laughably--backed up smears coming along...

Froggie (in a manner very obvious to anyone who's familiar with her posts) responded to a claim by either moon or poison with "lol, I voted tory at the last election" (I'm paraphrasing here), so Mr. Poison has been running with the "you voted conservative" schtick even after at least half-a-dozen posters have told him he's talking out of his arse and was being mocked.

im sure my comrades will be impressed when i start discussing the glories of margaret thatcher, tax evasion, the national interest, and balding men with an unhealthy obsession with peas, edwina currie, and traffic cones at our next branch meeting, along with discussing how we can put the big society plans into action. along with plans for our hedge fund.

which reminds me, we need to raise £1, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 for the hedge fund btw, so it can be stored in an offshore account in the cayman islands.

onwards to conservatism!

You still getting moist at the thought of Ann Widdecombe, then? :p

Have you donated to the hedge fund yet VP? We're about £1999, 999, 999, 999, 9999, 999, 999 short, so we dont even have ennough to buy a blue rosette

And there are too many traffic cones on the roads. Better eat some peas, that will give me a few ideas as to what to do about them.

Oh REALLY? Funny that, it must be cos it wasn't one! And neither I, nor anyone else here, owes you one - you, on the other hand, do owe froggy an apology for that utterly pathetic (and failed) smear of her on this thread. HOwever, we both know you're nowhere near man enough to do so.

I know, it's great to see these libservatives make absolute plonkers of themselves!:D

Yeah. We can re-invest the money that we've just cut from other things into fighting the veritable scourge that is the traffic cone  A cancer that must be cleansed from our land !!

i know, insecure much!

He reminds me of a bloke I knew (well, worked with) who, If you contradicted him at all would start banging on about how you were part of a bunch of group-think morons who couldn't possibly hope to understand him.
He had a degree in economics, though, so it's not surprising he was a bit dim for someone so far up his own arse. :D

Interesting to watch just how often you resort to comments about intellect and/or references to cliques.
actually, you're right, he's always the first to whip out the 'I'm superior and you're not NEERR!' section of the Big Insults Book when he's getting his botty smacked in debate...
