Trying to decide if it's worth swapping Hernandez for Berbatov (got the money in the kitty) - will inevitably lead to a barren patch of Sahara proportions for the Bulgarian, following which the lil' Mexican will majestically step up to the plate with 8 goals in three games

Yep, but it's more likely he'll get either a few minutes at the end or play for less than 60 minutes from the start - giving him probably 1 point.

I know... I couldn't afford the Arsenal player I really wanted (Arshavin) and Walcott's still injured so I took a punt that Wilshere would do something off the back of the CL. We'll see what happens

Wilshere over Dempsey cost me 6 points and although picking up Berbatov, I'm slightly annoyed my auto-captain thing (regular captain Anelka didn't play), which is supposed to pick on form, picked Scholes as captain rather than the Bulgarian

Not a horrendous week, but I'm rapidly starting to think I'm the Hull/Blackpool of this league - some shock good results at the beginning of the season before plummeting like a stone
