I set up the cup (head to head) league last year. Happy to do so again if you like. I'm not doing that play-off thing again tho. I was fucking uncatchable last year then got knocked out in the play-off! (Have to get over it)

Probably best to look for the good uns from the promoted teams, like Adam, Nolan et al last year. They can be bargainous.

Expecting City to keep a clean sheet against Swansea, maybe in their 2nd game against Bolton, then I might transfer Lescott, though he scored 8 a couple seasons back for Everton.

Anyone selecting Adam for 9mil needs their head checking, there's no way he'll get the same number of MoTM points as last season, and possibly fewer goals too, and definitely less minutes.

Think Dzeko might be worth a punt for the first couple games too. Chelsea has Stoke, West Brom and Norwich so worth having some of their players like Modric, Luis and possibly Torres too.

Looking at the percentages of teams picking a certain player, there are some interesting things thrown up already...

Suarez is the most picked forward, more people have picked Torres than Drogba. More people have picked Hernandez than Rooney. Berbatov is the 26th most selected forward and Tevez is 30th.

N'Zogbia is the most picked midfielder, Wilshere is the second most picked.Adam is the sixth most picked midfielder. Nani is the 12th most picked and is the highest placed midfielder from Man U or Chelsea.

Kompany the most picked defender. Only two Chelsea players (Luiz and Cole) and two Man Utd defenders (Rafael and Vidic) are in the top 20 most picked defenders.
