Fantasy Premier League 2024-25

Im enjoying the season so far, even though as usual my inclination to take massive hits caused me to fall dramatically last week. I might try to calm down a little bit on the transfers from now on.

Is there anything worse than somebody who has a pun based around a player's name in their team name and then don't have that player in their team? Scum.

i might have won a H2H game this week (depends if there's any more bonus points/ substitutions to come)

i must admit i'm finding it harder to get enthused by the premier league / FPL this year - it just feels ever more detached from football.

(and i'm doing crap this season which is all a bit cause and effect)

and need to decide whether to jump on the 'transfer haaland out' bandwagon - which would ensure man city win their next game 8-0 with him getting 5 of them...

I haven't had Haaland at all, and will not this season.
There has been pain, and there will be pain in the future but it's a great ride when things fall into place. Green arrows since GW5 and up to 154k.

keeping him didn't work this week.

or this week

(although at least i had salah as captain)

:)

i might even have won a H2H match...

man city have got to get it together some time soon, haven't they?

and should i remind everyone there's a midweek round of matches, so deadline of tea time tuesday?

i seem to have had a decent week - 74 points so far, and think there's 12 to come from the bench.

and that's with saka going off injured early in the game...

Looks decent for quite a few. Plenty of 80+ due to Salah's two goals and two assists. Pretty happy with my form; think I might be up to sixth in the league and still third in the H2H. Transferred Saka out for Diaz for Boxing Day.

I would rather have not had a chip that requires complicated planning thrown in half way through a season. My rank seems fragile as it is.

What is it? Do I have to pick somebody else and I get their points too?

the way i read it, you get to pick a manager (as in one of the PL teams' managers) for three weeks, and you then get points for their team's performance in those three weeks. But their price has to come out of your existing budget.

Oh, an actual manager. I thought it was you or somebody. Right. That makes less sense than I thought. I'm going to read about it.
