You can also switch managers during the three week period, but it costs you a transfer to swap manager (initial choice is free, doesnt use a transfer).
They've also dangled the prospect of earning way more points from this choice if you pick a manager whose team is at least 5 places below their opponents in the league at the start of that week, and they go on to win or draw that game. A lot of points are available in that way so its bound to be tempting for many, although others may play it safe.
Playing the chip when Liverpool have a double gameweek (via the postponed Everton fixture) and going for Slot that week is one strategy. But people with the triple captain chip left may use that then instead, especially given Salahs ridiculous form. And you cant use more than one chip at once, so whenever you play the assistant manager chip you cant use other chips for those 3 weeks.
