Lo Siento.
Second As Farce
And because they're better
In what way?
In qualifying? Nope. The last time we played them? Nope. In terms of the players at their disposal? Nope. Coach? Nope.

Lets just have a go at them, we know we havent set the world alight with our football so far this tournament but lets face it the Germans are nothing special and are very beatable. But no doubt they are saying similar things about us.
In the way they've played at the wc, undoubtably yes.
Lady's man Beckenhambauer is saying even ruder things.

Oh right, better in 3 games (and worse in their last one), that changes everything
*mumbles something about form temporary, class permanent*
They've won two of three games in their group, scoring five and conceding one, including putting four past Australia.
Take the blinkers off man.
Finding it hard too care what that guy says.
Errrrr....
So the form a team is currently in doesn't matter?.
Three group games trying to pick apart weaker teams is not much of an indication of what'll happen in a knockout game against another strong team.
It's not that it doesn't matter, just that it doesn't matter very much.
tell you what proper tidy, wee bit of advice: we're still actually in the tournament. Chances are we'll be knocked out within a week, so why do you come back for a good taunting then, eh? Rather than floating round all the england threads like an obsessed bitter twat whilst we're still actually in the tournament.
Like has been pointed out on any number of occasions, plenty of sides have looked pretty ropey in the group stages and gone on to prosper later in the tournament or even win the thing. Others have romped through qualifying groups and been dumped out by nobodies in the 2nd Round.Quite. I'm hoping you see the irony of the quote above.
Thing is, they actually managed to, didn't they?
And Slovenia are no Australia.

I wonder if england are doing penalty practice?

It's never proved to be much of an indicator of anything.
ok, fine. You know it won't even make you happy when it happens, don't you? You won't feel fulfilled when we go out. The bitterness will stay with you.
So we've established that you think neither technique nor form actually matter very much.
Bravo.
It isn't bitterness, honest guv.
And it will make me very, very happy. It always does. In. Every. Single. Tournament.
HeskeyI actually think the England team are very technically proficient footballer. More so than most of the German team, in fact. Something that the vast majority of coaches across Europe would agree with me in.
and then you have to go back to contemplating your own sad little life. Poetic.
