England v Platinum Stars

Live pics now on the BBC link.
BBC says pictures in UK only

Good news! Live video coverage of the match from the Maruleng Stadium should now appear to your right, however there is no commentary. Also, this service is for UK users only, sorry the rest of the world.

Interesting, where'd you hear that? Suppose it's a diplomatic approach.

It was reported on Talk Sport, so they must have got it from a press conference or something. I'm not convinced Capello knows who is going to start in goal against the US.

I'm beginning to suspect it may yet be Hart. :hmm:

England seem to be having a lot of problems with the altitude. Lots of over hit passes and crosses, well, either that or they're playing shit.

lol, ssn have had two breaks during the game, not that it matters as nothings happening anyway, meh.
Ah, that's ok then.

Me too :hmm:

1-0 at half time?! Play like this at the World Cup and we're dooooooooomed  :(

;)

Oh good, Johnson, our first choice right-back, conceded the penalty "with no apparent danger around him after letting a high ball bounce rather than clear with a header"

I've just seen that penalty, shite (and I mean really shite) decision by the ref.

Looks like England have made 11 changes at half time?

ETA - Oh, I was wrong, Joe Cole has stayed on. Green playing the second half.

10. Joe Cole still on.

2nd half: Rob Green, Jamie Carragher, Michael Dawson, Matthew Upson, Stephen Warnock, Aaron Lennon, Michael Carrick, James Milner, Emile Heskey and Wayne Rooney...and Jo Cole

Rooney is getting stuck in. There is a man who has no concept of a friendly.

Rooney (I think) just fired a drive across the face of goal. Heskey just stood there and watched it.:facepalm::facepalm:

I am already beginning to run out of excuses for his chronic goal-shyness. Slide in and attack the bloody thing, for goodness' sake.

Yeah but how many more chances have we created since Rooney and Heskey have been on?

We attack better and win more when he's in the side. Bit annoying that stat considering he doesn't score at all. :D I'lld start rooney/heskey upfront v usa.

As others have intimated, if the team scores more goals when he's on the pitch I don't care if he never scores a goal again.

Not saying it doesn't make me fret though :hmm: ;)
