Now that was a match! Wish it had gone into extra time but stuff like Forlan hitting the bar to miss out on the golden boot & Uruguay potentially stealing it again to come third is why I love the World Cup.... then again I'm supporting Holland for the cup so I'm even more relieved they aren't facing Germany after that..

Quite entertaining. Although I'm a bit disappointed with Klose not playing. I guess they've felt everyone would claim he only beat the record in a pointless match if he did, and would say he missed the only objective left for Germany in this World Cup if he didn't.
Now, Thomas Müller could be a potential contender in 12 years. Not many players this young score five goals in their first World Cup...

Isn't there a "fighting spirit" award in the World Cup? Uruguay must have it, all their games were fought to the very end.
