I heard Germany hate Italy more? Apparently it's national history with Italy, whereas with Netherlands it's all about the football: the Dutch are jealous of the Germans' success while the Germans are jealous of how the Dutch are loved by other nations.

I agree, but the fact that Germany have slapped Messi, Higuain, Tevez etc all over the place - even more than they did against England - does provide a sense of perspective on the first result.

definitely, you can't fail to admire this german team. loew has done a brilliant job in the face of plenty of teutonic naysayers.
