Yeah, ref is ruining it; he should be disregarding fouls if players obviously playact to get them - by that I mean if calling the foul was, on the face of it, legitimate but the fouled player makes a meal of it, then the ref ignores it. Getting sick of players going down with expressions like they've been shot or had their legs blown off!

Too right. The new German side is fresh and exciting.
I like the whole migrant inclusion - so much better than the 'machine' we grew up watching.

The ref has been poor but so was the ref in Germany's game against the Aussies only they benefitted from a dodgy red card, swings and roudabouts innit. This has made for a far more interesting contest and the German procession in this group is not so certain now. If Gahna beat Australia who knows who'll top this group?
