i think simply be does them
They do, in the shoe tailor.com section of their site. Mind you, the largest calf size (extra ultra large) usually only comes in black. And the leg width gets graded up according to shoe size and foot width. But the size guide you get is reliable.

New Look can do boots which are good for wide calves.

I tried on my DM knee high boots yesterday and I had muffin tops on my legs. Nothing sexier than that spare flesh spilling over the top.

I also got these from asda

They would be tight but I leave the top undone.

actually I'm gonna have to try and get some today myself... aargh... just realised I have nothing suitable for a christening tomorrow...

actually I want to get some ankle biker boots - which shouldn't pose a problem with size too - I'll be in Bromley this afternoon which has an office - wonder if they have any nice ones?

And I guess i'll have to try Evans for the knee highs..

I'll have about 30 mins of child-free time...

Last night, in what might possibly be a sleep deprivation related frenzy I ordered 2 coats, 2 pairs of boots, 2 dresses, 2 cardis and 2 tops. Luckily I will no doubt have to return everything saving myself two hundred and odd quid. My basket was up to nearly £400 at one point.

Then today I bought jersey dress for over leggings in the DP sale.

bit like this.

I want that

So get it.

It doesn't make me look slimmer. In fact it makes me look fatter, but the material feels really nice and soft and if it was more fitted under the bust it would only reveal rolls of fat anyway.

I can't see it on the site.

I got a really lovely fitted knee-length cream lace dress from H&M - it's was only available in Selfridges or online and it's gorgeous. Only problem is I think it would look best with nude tights and I always ladder them within 5 seconds of putting them on.

Sold out now but here's the skirt version.

I bought a pinky red checked shirt in the sale at Tesco for £5 yesterday, and some Bearpaw boots, which are like Uggs but cheaper and not as ugly. I'm undecided about them, as I'm not sure they are really me - plus I already have some very expensive Nubuck Merrell boots for cold weather.

Just now I picked up a little waterfall type cardi from Asda, quite light jerseyish material, for £10. That will do for putting in my handbag in case I need an extra layer at any time.

i resisted all the wearables at the vintage fair yesterday, and today i abandoned a full basket in the topshop online sale  i think i may be coming down with something :hmm:
