Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

I did swear I'd try to buy a few clothes as possible this year, but then I've put a bit of weight on and may have to replace summer stuff, but will try to do a lot of that 2nd hand if I can.

I’m having an underwear overhaul.
I’ve just bought 6 new bras, all the same but different colours as I know they fit well.
I’ve thrown away 6 or 7 including 3 that I have already repaired once but the wires still poke through. The others have cups that are bigger than my head. :D

I’ve also cleared out ratty and holey socks and bought some more.

Knickers next. 👍

I’m trying to find the perfect plus size trench coat. It is not going well and all the ones I really like are also really spendy.

Maybe I should look at Vinted too!

so, I might of actually gone mad here but I just bought a late 80s Gianni Versace silk jacket with little gold medusa embroidered all over it.

I have looked and can't find anything similar. I think i got a good deal, the jacket was a fair price, it was just the import duties that made it expensive.

here are some snaps from the vendors' site.

I've just been to the charity shop and bought a Nobody's Child summer dress for £3.50 and a pair of pink jeans for £2.50, which I'll wear with a black tank top and black chunky sandals.

I've so chuffed because I've just sold a load of my old clothes on Vinted.

It's great selling stuff online!!
I sold most of my doc martens over the past few months. They just didnt fit anymore. I kept 3 pairs that for some reason are ok on me. (My feet keep swelling up...🙄)

So I discovered that Dr Martens from 10 or 20 years ago are remarkably popular with the youth of today. I sold on Depop. And I have to say all the buyers were really lovely...

Its a great idea to sell on clothes and shoes that are in good nick and have lots of wear left in them.
I couldnt get to charity shops so that was a non runner.

They were collected by courier and delivered in 2 days to the buyers. Selling is possibly as addictive as buying!! I have been looking around the bedroom to see what else could be sold 😁

I think I’ve asked this before but where is best to sell clothes, mostly BNWT, women’s plus size?
I’ve got a Depop account but haven’t used it yet.
Or is Vinted or EBay better?

I used to use Ebay. But moved to Depop recently.
Depop takes 10% of your sale price.
And I use paypal..only. but people often ask can they pay cash and meet you.

Depop seems more popular than ebay here.

I've been using Vinted and have done pretty well in both buying and selling.

I don't like the Depop search facility, it makes me so cross!
I'm too impatient for eBay.

Thanks both, I’ll have a look at Vinted. I’m not impressed with the Depop search either.

I’ve bought some new clothes too so selling some has become more urgent. :D

I also really really want these trainers but I don’t actually need them.
