Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

Surely one of the great things about modernity is that 'too casual' just means turning up in your pyjamas now. Cowboy boots, converse trainers & dr martens have all passed into formal wear, if you want them to be formal wear.
True and I’m definitely very casual. But the place is quite fancy so I wouldn’t want to feel out of place any more than I already do!

Thanks everyone, I hope the boots are good when they get here! Yes they are a bit cowboy boot ish after saying that was too casual.
I’m still worried about this, I imagine everyone else is going to be in pretty shoes and sandals.
Well they might be, but you'll be the one looking cool 😊

I got a pair of ankle-grazing tapered light washed jeans from Rag & Bone, which I plan to roll up a little further to fully expose the ankles in summer.

the yellow paddington, no question
My hand is hovering over the buy button but still can’t decide between orange and yellow
Aargh!

I like the orange but you should definitely get the yellow. It’s lovely.

Been trying to replace my favourite leather jacket but when I do find one now people are always asking silly money (didn't pay for the first one and the previous replacement cost about thirty quid). Found this instead and it's even better. Pic doesn't do it justice, it fits perfectly and it's proper thick leather that weighs about a ton.

If you’re that uncertain, get both and decide which suits you best then send the other back.

The Clockwork Orange Plaid is nice too..

I’m seeking a small black crossover body bag with a zip -just big enough for phone, small purse & phone. It can be pleather but not leather, proper strap not chain & ideally under £25. Have ordered 3 & sent 3 back so far & actual shopping nowt yet.

I'm at work and fucked up the links but there are loads at H&M and ASOS

This doesn’t fit your budget (they do have sales) but have you looked at Johnny Loves Rosie? I like their bags. Vegan leather, mostly crossbody and changeable straps.

I’ve got the Sadie but that’s not a zip one.

There's a phone bag from Oliver Bonas which is nice but it's a bit more than £25 but I think they do various discounts online - up to 15% I think.

I think I saw this in store, it was nice. They also do the straps and I’ve got a leopard one and a plainer one.

Kipling are my go-to brand for bags., I have one that takes at least 5 glass bottles of alcohol* and it's been going strong for at least ten years. My laptop bag is also a Kipling and it takes two laptops plus chargers, phone, A4 notebook etc, only half of which was enough to split a similarly-expensive crossbody. Not at all the answer you're looking for of course moonsi til but if you can't find what you want from the other links it may be worth exploring, they do seem to be quite robust.

*other liquids are available.

Thanks all. This one was perfect bar being leather which I didn’t realise when I ordered. I get a good discount at ASOS through a friend so I try & shop there.

I saw the Oliver Bonas one a few days ago & it did make me think to increase budget & I like the changing straps.

It looks great but lets face it, it won't carry much alcohol. :D
