Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

Bought this necklace on sale from Culture Vulture, mainly as I'm going on a Colour Walk at the end of the month hopefully and I realised I don't actually have much big, colourful jewellery, plus it's nice. Got some earrings as well as they were down to £5.99 and I think I'll get wear out of them.

Was trying not to buy too much new stuff, but this dress is a style I've been looking for for a bit as I have one like this I got in a charity shop and they're so useful in summer and for holidays - it's t-shirt fabric so it packs really easily. And this was in the sale

Got this heavily reduced in the sale. Worn for the first time today and got lots of compliments. It looks much better irl than in the pictures. Plus I am not wearing with socks and sandals!
I love this. Where’s it from?

Having decided that jeans are not happening for me this summer I have bought some wafty trousers from new look.
These are nice and thin. There’s also a dark green and black linen pair from Simply Be.
So it’ll be these or wafty dresses until September.

Want! They have some lovely things in their sale, but still out of my price range/current budget. £55 the dress.

Bag advice please.

Is the first one too big for a wedding guest? It feels like the one I’d get more use out of but worried it’s a bit chunky.

This is the current other option. I have to stop ordering bags.

I’m wearing green and have tan sandals. I want to be able to fit money, fags, make up and a tiny bottle of deodorant. 😄

Put it down for the photos and it won’t matter. It’s not huge, but it is larger than usual. I can’t get a sense of the scale of the other one.

The dune one is H 24cm x W 18cm x D 15cm. It’s just big enough and looks nice with the dress so I might stick with that one.
I really like the other one and would use it much more but it’s also much more expensive.

Ah yeah. Go with the cheap one.

What about the other wedding essentials - hip flask, tissues, flat shoes? It's not nearly big enough :D
I did wonder. I don’t think I’ll risk a hip flask, I’m there 12 hours so really will need to pace myself. 😄
I’m already wearing flats (tan sandals) so that’s all good although a bag I could fit some flip flops in would be amazing.

Now I’m questioning the bigger bag again that I’ve just returned to next along with £800 worth of suit components for Mr Looby. 😳

Been looking for a new crossbody bag and found this in Whitstable today. I said that it looked like a paper bag and the woman in the shop said that’s because it is made of paper!

It’s black: don’t know why it’s rendered as grey in the pic. Now thinking maybe I should have got the olive one, but it wasn’t a very nice olive. Anyway, loads of zipped compartments and, weirdly enough, machine washable at 40 deg C.

I know of these via a cricket podcast. Seemingly random link but there is a link. Apparently they're very comfy.

I went to a wedding a while back where they had a ginormous basket full of flipflops, in many sizes, for people to put on when their shoes all got a bit much.
