Bought some weird tights 🙂
They look like this..fleecy thermal lining ...but like translucent tights.

They say they are fleece lined thick thermal tights with a fake translucent appearance 😁
Apparently they suck you in and lift your bum too. 🤣

I somehow doubt they do all that but I kind of like the idea so I bought a pair.
I'll let you know if they're amazing / shite.

These...are fantastic!!!
They are so warm ..nearly too warm. They look just like 20 denier tights on but are properly thick and lined with a lovely cosy lining.
They are quite tight so they are perfect for me. (CKD legs ) they also have sucked about 2 inches off my hips and waist.
I can wear dresses and skirts and be extremely warm.
Just spent a while outdoors gardening..well...clearing leaves. And I stayed very warm.

Eta added bonus...I look like my legs are shaved 🤣

Anyone got any hair chalk or temporary hair spray recommendations? Having dyed Auntie Mogden's hair :D this summer, Niece Mogden, 4 and a half, is showing some interest in a multi-coloured barnet. She got fairly fine but quite wavy almost curly hair which is a dirty blonde colour. I've waded through Amazon reviews and fancy dress websites and I can't decide if some are better than others or if they're all disappointing and make your hair greasy.

Pair of Solatio Norwegian Basketweaves/Boxtops. Happy Xmas to me.....

Wow! I can smell them.......on seeing them I got a weird smell flash back of the mens shoe Department in John Lewis Holloway in the 70's.....Gorgeous smell of leather and polish.

When shoes were made properly!
Omg 😲 I cant believe I've said that.....what an old git I am!

Going to a small, socially distance bar mitzvah on Saturday. It's an orthodox synagogue and have been reminded that as a married laydee I should be wearing a hat. Doesn't have to be super formal, though. Went on quick lunchtime charity shop trawl for something I might actually want to wear elsewhere and found this rather nice herringbone number.

Ok. I have ferocious feet. As in bones twisted and damage done from muscle disease. So the quest for comfortable footwear is always ongoing.
I'm a dedicated Doc Martens fan...and over the years I have been tempted to buy Solovair.
But the price was always a bit of a deterrant and I kind of stuck to DMs despite the fact that their size 5 was getting that bit tighter and their size 6s were unwearable.

No more.

I spotted these on sale. And they arrived today. I honestly think I will never ever take them off!! Straight out of the box and they are pefect. Excellent support. Nothing hurts. Easy to tie up.. I mean they just are perfect. I sincerely hope they stay perfect... Solovair Monkey shoes in burgundy.
They are actually a richer darker burgundy than the pic.

I got them..new..on sale for €100 which I know is a lot but they had been over €200. I can see myself wearing these for the next 20 years!!!
Hoping they dont start to feel tight and uncomfortable any time soon... 🙂

Solovair are a very good shoe company.

Well for the first time in ages I have gone the whole day in the same pair of shoes and very little pain. My feet are beginning to swell up but the shoes are still comfortable. No pinching and nothing hitting off my broken toes.

I am sold on Solovair monkey shoes. I wonder are all their shoes similar in shape / width?

3 dresses for £26 in TK Maxx when I went in for bamboo socks for my partner which I got plus Keith Haring Happy Socks for a friend.

Their time will come!

Bought 2 pairs of jeans recently. A pain that due to covid-19 you can't try them on.

It seems I bought some that are stretchy, not sure that was wise.

little bit off piste but I got this great book from the market, every page is a vogue cover right from the start. some great examples of fashion from before photography became common place. art nouveau to deco and beyond.

Nice legs, nice Docs, perfect combo. :)

Bought some bras online. After spending ages trying to measure myself I finally bought one...that was a perfect fit and now have bought another of the same.
Looks like I've been wearing the wrong size for a long time....🤭

Could anybody recommend a moisturiser with SPF please? I recently bought Cerave fragrance free daily moisturising cream with spf 25 but something in it is irritating my eyes and making them a bit itchy and sore.

I have never paid any attention to skincare and am overwhelmed by the bazillion products out there.

Why did you put it in your eyes ?

Obviously I didn’t put it in my eye. 😕

Whatever is in it, the residue it left on my face made my eyes sore and itch. As soon as I stopped using it my eyes have stopped feeling uncomfortable.
Sorry
I'm using revoloution cbd rich nourishing cream.
This thread might help....or and you could add to it.

Avene Hydrance UV Light has SPF 30 and I've always found it good. It's easily absorbed and I would imagine it's good for sensitivity.

I've also used the Superdrug B one recently (can't remember the SPF although it definitely had one) but it did tend to 'sit' on the skin.

Ive tried a few but always go back to the cheap and cheerful nivea q10 age protect. I use the age spot one most of the time because I tend to get marks on my forehead and moustache area with exposure to sunlight and it helps. It's factor 50 but obviously that only lasts for about an hour after you've put it on.
