Just lashed out an eyewatering £127.50 on two pairs of jeans from Levi online - one of them was half bloody price! I can't get used to my HRT-more-padded body, and look shite in all my old jeans. Wrong shape. So am trying brand newies, see if they fit. Can always return them if they don't.

Got the 714s in 'Lone Wolf' (cos it's closest to dark indigo) and 'Blue Vista' cos they were half price and I quite like the colour

714 Straight Jeans

and a new face serum, cos they didn't have the usual red Time Delay one I like, harrumph

Meindl Cambridge GTX | Jackson-Sports.com

Seething with jealousy since sweetheart ordered new shoes (although since his only other footwear are hunting boots, wellies and some split Caterpillars I couldn't sulk too much). Did get them cheaper (£138) from Millets though.

I have been having a daily trawl (and salivating) over William Lennon boots- terribly, terribly tempted by field boots...and the hillwalking ones! Sadly, there are still more years of use in my Meindls ...but otoh, I do have a sizeable stash of £2 coins in my garden teapot (ignores huge list of glads, dahlias and lilies for summer cutting garden).

I cast off DMs a long time ago - last pair was bought in a tiny shop in Brighton, 1991 - thrillingly without the hideous yellow stitching. Solovair for me, I am afraid.

Went out today to spend £40 Anthropologie voucher gsv got for my birthday back in November before all the sales ended. Was considering a necklace, perfume or a new wallet,as mine has had a broken zip since about a month after I bought it and always spills change everywhere.

There was only one wallet that fitted the bill and luckily it was really nice and the right price too :)

My black lace-up ankle boots are dying and I need to replace them but can't find any. Any suggestions? Not docs or biker boots, they need to be smart enough to wear to a job interview, and not high heeled.

The old ones I got from Clark's and never really loved them as they're a bit plasticky but I can walk immense distances in them, wear them on the motorbike and appear smart if necessary... but they've got an actual hole in now.
