I am so excited... I love western boots and these are so gorgeous and comfortable and fabulous with a denim skirt. I've been looking for these for years and they've got no wear ..well very little..

Apparently I'm not sending the glittery dress back as I wore it to a party. It was just too damn glittery. And cheap. Cheap and glittery. Got many compliments.

It seems to be a good time of year to buy party dresses because people are desperate to shift their Xmas stock. E2A: except they seem to have put their prices up again now...

I've been buying, or at least ordering, reduced party dresses from La Redoute as I have a gig coming up I want something classy but not too OTT for. Their stock control system is shit so 1 of 4 was cancelled and 1 delayed but have had these 2:

Velour Printed Kimono Dress The fabric is glitteringly lovely and I'm a bit reluctant to send this back but it really isn't flattering on me. Would be better on someone with big top half and small bottom half I think.
V-Neck Velour Dress Very nice LBD but too small.

I've determined to do a few pay as you go sessions with a pal at a local women's gym.
Bought runners and jogger pants...as it is about 8 years since I have worn runners and my last tracksuit was a water resistant shiny thing.
. I don't like leggings so tracksuit bottoms were a better choice for me....

There's not that much more rubber on them than converse, but they seem a lot sturdier. Very pleased with them so far.

My Birkenstocks have arrived but I don't think they fit. I'm a 4.5 so vary between a 4 or a 5. I ordered a 4 but now ordered a size 3 for comparison.

Fingers crossed as I love them!

I do find with Birkies that they tend to be a little on the large size. I’m reliably a 7 in all other shoes but most of my Birkies are a 6.

I am tempted by a new pair of Birkies, although there's nothing wrong with the pair I have.

Just bought new work shoes:



They're all by American brands which make sensible, grown-up shoes, so they're really fucking comfy. These brands have factories in China and some of the stuff finds its way online to be sold very cheaply.
