DM's should be in 1 colour and one colour only, ie brown/oxblood and be either 8 or 10 holes. Nothing more, nothing less.
Aye, if you are a polis yes.Well...they're great in black too.
Yeah, but I already have several pairs of each of thoseDM's should be in 1 colour and one colour only, ie brown/oxblood and be either 8 or 10 holes. Nothing more, nothing less.

It was the 60s and 70s that plod wore them. Old habits die hard.... The robocop stuff they wear now is awful.
Adidas make really shite stuff too. As can be seen....
The biggest buyers of DMs in the first years of production were housewives. not the plod.
Postmen and factory workers came next...they were very much the go to boot of all sorts of workers...and were championed by the working class.... then they entered popular culture with the skinhead movement . Even pope JP2 wore them.
It's the 21st century now
Anyone can wear them.
The DM boot aa we know it came out 1/4/1960 hence the original oxbloods being the 1460 boot. Very much seen as a workboot by the makers. Became part of popular culture as a result of them being taken on by skinheads. Older traditional skinheads always preferred the 8/10 hole oxbloods over the black version. The black version being popular with police at the time. If you struck lucky you could get a pair of Joe Hawkins Astronaut boots, a skinhead holy grail purchase these days.
Nowadays they are in the last days of sodom. Steel toecaps, patent pink, denim, tartan, embroidered on.... Just wrong wrong wrong....
God has no say in my shoes
Probably w8ise given his penchant for sandals you'd probably be wearing Crocs or Birkenstocks.
I love Birkenstocks
