what are peoples experiences with Joe Browns? they have a couple of nice looking things but Ive not ordered from them before so not sure what the quality is like :)
I used to order from them quite a bit and quality is normally quite good, but fit is really hit and miss.

I got these (sorry for massive pic) which are the exact same as my current, almost worn out, trainer, except a darker blue. I really loved them last time, so I thought bugger that searching about and ordering and sending back lark, I'll just buy what I know.

In what way? Comes up smaller or bigger or a complete guess?
Completely hit and miss really; too big, too small, fits up top or not at the bottom or vice versa and I don't normally have that much of an issue.

It's a shame as it is good stuff, but I normally end up sending a lot back. When you get a hit it's great though.

I have had loads of problems with Joe Browns clothes. I have a long body so tops are always too short. Dresses often fit weirdly too. I've given up because their stuff is pretty expensive.

ta, I suspect I'll have more issues too tbh. Which is a shame as there is a fair bit I like

Me too. One way round this is to always buy black :D
I can't buy outfits, but I am trying! And I can't wear black because of the cats and their crazy fur

Yeah, I have lint rollers in every room and my car. I don't get dressed until I'm going out and put my pyjamas back on when I get in.

I have very hairy animals. [emoji1]

I don't have time! Two kids to get ready too no time for more faff! Easier to just avoid black!

Finish quality (seams & hems) is okay.

Sizing is variable - check the reviews (customer comments) on the Joe Browns site about the garment you're considering buying as that'll show up whether it's large across the bust, tight over the bum etc.

I had one or two orders from Joe Brown and never bothered again as the fit was so bad, like ridiculously long sleeves and things. Just totally wrong proportions.

I get bored of dressing that way in summer, I seem to have a lot more printed dresses that I wear with boring shoes so I don't have to think about outfits. Winter has more darker colours that I wear with coloured opaque tights. I love thick tights in different colours

I'm totally in a frock/cardi/tights/fab necklace rut, but at least the component parts are sometimes a bit interesting :D

I'm pretty much always in frock/cardi/leggings but I don't have the fab necklaces. It's fine for winter but in spring/summer when everyone else is flashing the flesh I'm overdressed and hot (not in a good way). [emoji53]

I wear the same, with boots in winter and sandals/ballet pump things in summer. I can't wear shoes without socks because my feet smell  so it's usually sandals.

I need some new jewellery. I always used to wear it then got out of the habit on maternity leaves. I'm done with all that now so I need to start getting my stash up again. I want some nice earrings, studs but funky. Where should I be looking?

i need to stop buying 1950s dresses. or i'll need to buy another wardrobe.

but the latest was a job lot from ebay. 2 Run and fly tea dresses, 2 lindy bop audrey dresses and a 2 identical lindy bop cardies for 85 quid.

Etsy is good and there are loads of really good online stores and I can't remember any of them. There's also someone on here that makes/sells jewellery but I can't remember their name either. [emoji1] I think I've got a pm so I'll check later.

I can only wear silver/gold or my ears go manky so I'm limited. I always find something in Accessorize that I like if you want high street.

There's quite a few jewellery threads on here. I love statement jewellery, including really bonkers stuff and it can transform a black outfit. Necklaces and rings can also be made of all kinds of materials. Maybe moose can recommend some of the sites she uses :)
For aqua too
