I have just bought a pair of brown wool tweed trousers from Lilith via eBay.

This would be great as Lilith is may favourite brand but I've bought them in my usual size. I'll need to get my act together and shift some pounds before I can wear them :(

Dorothy Perkins are rubbish. Never got a confirmation email, logged onto their site and it's telling me my email address isn't even registered. Yet the money has been taken out of my account. Not happy.

ooo, they look fab!

It has been a expensive payday..haircut & colour £75 (IMO looks amazing), MAC Strobe Light & Haute & Naughty Mascara £43 and Clarins Mineral Powder £28.50. Still need to buy Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Set then that's it under a rock I go! All make-up products ran out together which doesn't bode well for 3-4 months from now!

I've had to replace two of my three Clinique products (face wash and clarifying lotion) plus foundation and powder today. I hate it when they happens. I'm going to buy another clarifying lotion with my clubcard points so it doesn't happen again in a couple of months.

I did alright though, it was 10% off loads of stuff in Boots including my Clinique stuff so I also got a new brow thing from Benefit.

I have just bought a cord Scandinavian coat and a back wool Toast dress. I shouldn't go on eBay after a bottle of wine. I may also have bought a duffle coat from Jigsaw :facepalm:

[emoji1] Pics Shirl?

I had to take Mr Looby to bloody Portsmouth today to exchange his docs because they fell apart after 10 months. [emoji35] I didn't buy anything but fell in love with so much in that bloody shop including some Mary Janes and a 200 quid leather rucksack. I'm now trawling eBay.

I've had Docs split on me before and they are really good about reimbursing postage when you have to send them back and sending new ones

My mate bought some of the veggie/vegan DM's a while back and was pretty hacked off when the sole split after a few months - he went back to the store and showed them and got a new pair, no questions asked.

I don't wear DM's myself but seems a pretty great policy

They are totally awesome. And just recently brought some lifetime guarantee boots out. £170 but they will fix them no matter what. Seems like a good deal!

Yeah that's amazing. You tend to get what you pay for with footwear (boots and shoes more so than trainers) , but a pair of boots for life at £170 is a snip

Cheers. [emoji4]
They told me when I got there that I could have posted them for an exchange. When I called on Friday, they told me I had to come to the store so I was pissed off as it's a long way just to exchange some boots.
Then they told me they think it was a fault with the boot as they were a 'b' style so we tried to buy originals instead but the only discount they'd offer for the hassle of going there when we didn't need to was 10% which I get anyway as I'm a student. I think if the manager had been there we'd have done a bit better.

They've said I can post them back if it happens again but won't cover postage. This was an outlet store so I don't know if that makes a difference. Hopefully they won't need to be returned again.

Ordered another cheap tartan dress from eBay.

My Dorothy Perkins order finally turned up after all my issues.

This is one of the dresses. It's not bad, I wish I had noticed the gathering thing around the neckline. Probably good with wine coloured tights and Chelsea boots.

I also have the boat/fly zip front dress made famous by moose. It's a bit big around the shoulders  I probably could have ordered a size down. Might wear with Docs and a chunky cardi when it gets cold. Am I the only person who thinks in terms of outfits when it comes to acquiring clothes? I hate having stuff that doesn't work with anything else in my wardrobe.

bro gave me some p's for clothes on my birthday so after much brow furrowing I have got

Blue harrington jacket
Nice brown boots (saved a tenner on them  )
A black uni-style hoodie that says 'time traveller' on it and gallifrey est 1983 etc

what are peoples experiences with Joe Browns? they have a couple of nice looking things but Ive not ordered from them before so not sure what the quality is like :)
