Well can I get away with a boring wellies questions after such a fashion parade of grrrrrr-iona.

I almost got on a pair of Hunters in TKMaxx last week but baulked when I realised they were quite tight on the ankle and I was in danger of getting them stuck whilst alone. My current pair are just Primark jobbies and were okay but are now sole split and leaky and in an amazing moment of clarity and planning, I'm getting my festival supplies together before the session starts. Size 8-ish. Any suggestions?

I have a pair of boring green wellies that cost me twelve quid from a local feeds & saddlery place. Not pretty and a bit too big because I had to get men's sizes (the women's ones don't fit my calves) but they do the job - comfy and not too worn after a year and a half of use. Aren't you around Uckfield way sometimes (visiting family or something?) or have I got that wrong?

I am iona, you're not mistaken. I am an Ucker. I know there's a saddlery place, or used to be, off the crossroads for Coopers Green and Buxted. Is there one TW/Crowborough way? I might be down before my first festival.

I dunno. I'm a 7 1/2 to 8 and an 8 is fine on me with loads of socks on (6 pairs [emoji1]). My feet are wide too so I guess pretty generous but not too big.

Is that vague enough for you? [emoji33] [emoji1]

No, there's a place called Windmill Feeds at the start of that industrial estate bit by the bus station / McDonalds / the social club, if you know where I mean?

Definitely!

I'm about the same size. I have some smaller boots but Primark again and lower than those Dunlops and those catch a bit on the lower bit of my calves. The Dunlops sound and look just the job though!

Cool!! Yes I do, on the Bell Lane bit, near Halfords. I used to work down on that industrial estate many years ago doing coupon redemption at one place and admin at another. I might get Ma Mogden to go and take some photos and do a reccy for me then.

Sorry, I missed the lower leg bit earlier, no they don't rub on me. I've usually got jeans or leggings tucked in anyway and I find them really comfy. [emoji4]

S'okay I edited it in just after I posted it. I like the fact that they're shorter so I don't have to do as much welly wanging and wobbling when I kick them off in my tent.

Two pairs of these leggings in black. For once, the waistband is quite deep and reduces the tied-in-sausage look. They're supposed to be available in three leg lengths, but none of the short length were in the Brixton branch. The medium length is 3-4" too long in the leg for me, but they'd ruche up okay if worn with boots.

are they M&S?

Yes. Think I might order a few in the short length online, seeing as that seems to be where the non medium everything is.

I *think* I might have seen you today, based on some of your past posts on this thread - I don't actually know what you look like but there was a woman attaching posters to the railings outside your estate wearing a scrunchy. I'm sure you're not the only woman with a scrunchy on that estate but I did wonder if it might be you. I was speeding past on the bus (at about 10ish) so didn't get a good look - all I saw was the scrunchy... :D
