Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

I am going to a party/club next weekend and have nothing to wear. Have just spent 4 hours trolling round Kingston trying shit on, and have come away with a pair of jeans and a summery top  oh, and a lingering sense of self-loathing and despair, obvs.

BoatieBird - they arrived last night.. great timing!

I was doing my groceries shopping and... oh wait, there's a Primark on the way ! Sooooo... I finally got a new spring dress with matching cardigan and lovely shoes

I don't think I've quite got the hang of being unemployed yet... Went to TK Maxx in search of some cheap colourful plimsolls

And accidentally some Fly shoes while I was there.

omg.. were the Fly shoes Brixton?.. it's now 3 or more years i've been lusting after the boots but just can't quite afford them. But those shoes are lovely too!

Oh, ffs. [emoji1]

I watched one of those awful demonstrations in a supermarket for a lint roller because I though the free gift was a mini roller. It was a micro fibre fucking towel. [emoji35]

I bought the product anyway because I'm a mug and spend about 20-30 quid a year on shit Primark lint rollers because of the hairy bastards I live with. I'm such a mug. [emoji20]

A pair of fairly boring cushion-sole black brogue boots to go with a charcoal-gray suit.

They're not going to win any style awards, but they're comfy, and the sole's grip means I'm less likely to go arse-over-tit than if I'm wearing my venerable Churchs.

I could do with some of them. I've got some nice Loake brogues but theyre not the most stable of shoes its gotta be said. I wobble a bit in them, especially if I'm having a pint after work .

I love Loake and Church shoes (and boots!) but the soles are not exactly "grippy"! My dad reckoned that "back in the day" when most shoes were soled with leather, people would rub a bit of coarse sandpaper over the sole to raise the grain a bit and make them a bit more "clingy" on wet pavement and tarmac. :D

I've scored the bottom of slippery heels to give them more grip many a time :)
