Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

I bought some we shoes today and though they seemed to fit in het the shop now when I am walking around in them at home my heels keep slipping out of them. I'm not sure whether to bring them back as this means they are small or to try to find some device to stop the heel slipping.
I have such horrible luck with shoes :(
You can get suede padded heel back things in boots. Depending on how much they slip may be worth a try- my feet shrank a shoe size while pregnant (weirdly) and I bought a job lot to avoid having to replace all my shoes

Oooh wow. Very cool.
Where did you get the sticks?
One of the stalls at the London PF conference, I'll see if I can dig out the business card later, they're probably online or will be soon. The main bit is holly, which is why the peeled wood is white.

They are beautiful.

An annual event for pagans (well behaved nonpagans welcome), usually including talks and workshops, but also a good excuse to do some drinking, networking, and generally catch up with people. Just leave most of your cash (and payment cards) at home before going, there's lots of stuff which you could buy. Those were just under a tenner each. They'll probably get worn at a winter wedding & reception, though.

If I get the time and inclination, I might have a look for a few suitable branches to peel and sand down myself, those ones are 8" total length, 7" peeled and smooth. Shorter sticks could be treated in a similar way and used for fastening knitwear (if not too dense), if you know somebody who likes that sort of thing.

back to school shoes :thumbs :

I fucking hate you for this wufftywoo
noooo! is hugely useful resource.

you think: "what i really want is a green jumper/purple shirt/pair of blue shoes, and I don't want to spend any more than £[whatever}]". It shows you everything so you know you're getting the absolute best one for your tastes, at the best price. I haven't really used it since my blogging days, cos my tastes are more specialist... but it is brilliant.

Eyeshadow, kohl, and clear mascara.

A bluey grey top with batwings ending in tight sleeves. A sort of weird Japanese cut, but it works.

What looked like a rather cheerful red lightly beaded long sleeved Pepe V neck top, which looked great on the hanger. When I got home and tried it on, I realised why it was in a charity shop. It's unwearable in public without something over it. The neckline finishes about 1" above my navel and the fabric's opaque but shows contours a bit too clearly. A lot too clearly. Two contours in particular.

clear mascara tho, intrigued, what does it do for you that the goopy black/brown/blue/green/purple/etc. doesn't ?

That's really nice!

I was just talking myself out of buying a Lee 101 overall jacket.

Do you know of a site to buy used levis from? I'm looking for the 14.5oz ones.
