I have bought a frivolous swimsuit, as I'm fed up of feeling frumpy in my ancient black Speedo when all around at the lido are wearing fabulous palm tree bikinis and the like. It is of the "Yep, I'm fat, what of it?" variety. If you see me at the lido, come and say hello. I will be easier to spot than Wally
I suspect it will be a nightmare to actually do lengths in, but never mind.
(I am not quite this shape in it.)

And some silver shoes (lace ballet flats) for previously mentioned hen do.
And three dresses because the frock thread let me know that I don't have enough.

just ordered this dress, when after looking through 6 bags of clothing my sister had been keeping in storage for me, I realized I probably don't have the pretty, flowy white sundress w/ blue flowers I thought I still had.

a pair of jeans for me and a vast raft of stuff for the kids (dress, t-shirt and swimsuit for Sophie, jumper, jogging bottoms and Adventure Time t-shirt for Patrick, pair of plain hooded t-shirts, a Star Wars t-shirt and black Angry Birds wellies 
for Daniel) which all came to the princely sum of 67 quid at the Next Sale today. Also a pair of Osh Kosh jeans and a Ben Sherman shirt for Patrick from TK Maxx. And lots of tedious but necessary school uniform from Tesco and Asda.

just ordered this dress, when after looking through 6 bags of clothing my sister had been keeping in storage for me, I realized I probably don't have the pretty, flowy white sundress w/ blue flowers I thought I still had.
the missing dress looked a lot like this, except it had wide straps and lace details
I think I remember now, having to throw it away because the gauzy outer fabric kept tearing and would not be fixable. I'm still mourning the loss
I was, however, reunited with lots of old and beloved clothing items. Still not quite sure what to do with them all.

oopp did not realize this site was from Canada! prices are in GBP the clever bastards- I could have ordered that and not realized! I know you have to pay import duty on things from America but maybe Canada not so? Does anyone know? This actually make me more tempted to buy it because it'll be more unique, oh dearyou behave!

I bought these things from Primark which are going to become a 1920s showgirl outfit (although the necklace is more 1930s art deco looking). I just need to get some feathers and sequins and other twinkly bits from the craft shop and I'll make it in time for it to rain all the way through Boomtown.

I love the cat ear hatI got some perfect sunglasses on saturday for a whole pound from primark.
and today I remembered I'm meant to buy cat ears (hen do, yo) so I got some from claires and some other stuff.
which happily go with the dress I'm probably going to wear.
and a hat because it was reduced and no one got me a cat ear hat for christmas
and a flowery headband/garland thing as it goes with the dress which I should wear to weddings but I've only got 6 weeks and it doesn't fit yet (oh well)
and a leopard print headband, because why not.
