They're ace They're very warm round the ankles as they're furry inside, could do with being a bit warmer underfoot when you're standing in snow, so I might get some of those foil backed insoles. I wore them all day yesterday, straight from the box, and walked miles round Manchester without getting sore toes. They seem to be waterproof, and certainly great to walk on in snow, with good grippy soles. The spikes are really good on ice, but best when you're in the country rather than town, as you can't walk on shop floors with them out. There's a little plastic tool to make it easier to flip the spikes out. I bought half a size bigger than normal, as my previous pair of Mammal boots were a bit tight, but these are great, and have room for thick socks.

A new Primark has opened in town so me and my mate dragged our hungover arses down there.

I got a pair of knitted boots for 6 quid
Some black brogues with a small heel 12 quid
Loads of thick socks 9 quid

She got some gorgeous xmassy pjs but I am too fat for their clothes.

I bought three tops from Debenhams, this is one:

The others are pretty much the same, one is black and one is pink.

Also ordered two pairs of black trousers, only one came and they were too long.

Got some lush Crabtree & Evelyn geranium and chamomile handcream as well.

I also ordered some boots from Hotter but they were a bit too grannyish and I'm sending them back. I really want some boots but I can't find any to fit.
