Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

Needed a new jumper yesterday. Searched the charity shops of Wandsworth to no avail so went to TK Maxx. Ended up getting a really nice Craghopper fleece for £9 in their sale (discounted discount stuff?) which was pleasing.

Had a bit of time to kill waiting for train at Putney later so popped into Oxfam and got a big, think pretty much new Fat Face fleece/coat thing for £10 :)

Yesterday was jumper day :)

Thanks to everyone who suggested I get this dress that finally arrived in the mail today. I am deeply infatuated :D
Just a few questions. Should I get rid of the pockets, bottom ruffle and/or buttons down the centre? I'm thinking maybe I should keep the buttons so I don't look so monoboobed :hmm: And should I convert the halter straps into normal ones?
OK, another question :D What do to do in terms of jewellery? The top black part is satin and I worry a necklace will make it look too busy. Thanks all

fantastic shoes gem, and such and such - dress is great :)

I reckon a simple pendant works with halternecks (but I didn't even know what a statement necklace was!).

Personally, I'd take the pockets off and leave the ruffle at the bottom.

Looks lovely! I'd leave the pockets - they break up the shape a bit and can be very useful :D The only thing I'd change is the straps - making them into 'normal' ones will give you more width across the shoulders and balance out the marvellous boobage.

yes, this. Halternecks make your books look bigger, which you don't need. Plus you can wear a normal bra, which will be more comfy - especially after a few hours.

edit - gorgeous frock, btw. Have you tried it with a net petticoat?

Thanks for your help spangles and moose :) I see what you mean about the halterneck. Strapless bras are a right pain and I'm worried my neck will start hurting due to the weight after a while.

I have a crinoline but have only worn it out of the house since in all the tulle takes up so much space. Might give a try later :)

Re jewellery, I'd just go with some big plastic beads. Black, white or red would all look nice. Or just some big earrings.

I have a necklace like this

Might do. Note to self don't Google pearl necklace with the safe search off

oooh that is pretty :) I wanted the Chloe padded jacket on that site, but all sold out :(

I got a really cute outfit last night, pink top with a bow, and a spotty skirt, to be worn with very thick tights and a cardigan I think. Considering what underwear would be best as I think the top's gonna be a bit sheer, and it's cold :D

And this...but it might come and be a bit lairy :hmm:

ooh, was just looking at that bow top... didn't have it in black

jut had a look at that other site... £40 for a scarf  saying that, this one's £100! I'd make it for someone for £100!!!

Hoping it'll fit, as their size range is 6-8 10 -12 why not do an 8-10??

Designer innit, different strokes :D

@ Zenie - that's a shame about the padded jacket - but that top is lovely! I think it's awesome to wear bright and colourful patterns like that in the Winter - love it!
@ Biddly - I'm calling that scarf an Xmas pressie to myself :) That other M.Patmos one is gorgeous!

Like zenie said, it's different strokes. I can knit so could never spend £40 on a knitted scarf ;)

Not keen on the Patmos (who?) one, but I'll make one exactly like it for you for £99 :D

Yaeh, got a new fuckin beenie (I love my hats, me), an everlast one, sorta grey-blue & white, and a pair of gloves (only £1.50 off Oldham market), and a pair of Clare Rayners as well, though it's not really jolly trainer weather. Still though, I look fuckin shit hot.

Blue and grey checked flannel shirt-dress from Uniqlo, thought it would be perfect for my new job in a school, but the buttons only go down to, well, my crotch. Though the actual dress is knee length. Maybe with leggings it'll be OK?

poppers sounds like a plan. nice tshirt killer b.

i finally got my arse into gear to list some stuff on ebay and went shopping with the proceeds
