<snip>I really like the jacket, I cheerfully admit I may be completely alone in my opinion though :D
I like the dress - I'd happily wear that. But it's not about me, it's about you.

If both the dress and the jacket make you happy, then that's what matters, whether your wear them together or not.

Edited to add: I'd happily wear the jacket, but I'd probably put it with something a lot plainer and probably darker too. OTOH you're not me. :)

I'm not going to wear them together...

I really like the jacket, I cheerfully admit I may be completely alone in my opinion though :D

I'm with Greebo on this. I wouldn't wear it. I'm all about minimalism these days. But, this is about you and there's no reason why you should look like anyone else. :)

Plus some pink bunny slippers. I have a friend that rocks that look: smoking jacket, cravat, and bunny slippers. When he's feeling festive he adds the bunny ears.

Liking the cravat and smoking jacket. Not the bunny slippers though.

Just remembered I almost got abducted by a bloke in smoking jacket and cravat when I was 15. Wtf!??!

Ms T I bought those M&S pewter ankle boots :) Haven't actually got them yet, but will report back on Thursday.

Also got some new pyjamas while I was there - plain black top, black and white bow print bottoms.

What does the team think ?

They seem fairly rational ....

I might need to modify them if they prove hazardous on the stairs ...

Mules are like marmite.

IME, the foot slips with no heel support. You have to scrunch your toes to compensate for them falling off. I'd go for fleece lined moccasins. More like a gentle indoors trainer.

You're too kind :D

I loved it for a while but now I'm not sure. I fear I've got that middle-aged short hair thing going on rather than cool pixie cut.
