i disagree with you about the distance between his feet and his head negating the baleful dissonance between his coppery hair and his purple footwear

1) my apologies to you, Orang Utan, for talking about you behind you back and to your face like this.
2) Given some of OU's previous sartorial choices which he's got away with by sheer force of personality, he can wear what he damn well pleases and make it look good.

he can wear what he damn well pleases, of course.

These shoes in black - one and a half inch platforms with 4 inch heels, very definitely not for outdoor use.

I bought a black dress today from a charity shop. It was new, unworn and and a perfect fit. It's 96% wool and 4% elastine (sp) and it was £8.95
The odd thing is, it's Linea which I think is House of Fraser and I would never usually buy anything from there because I find it a bit frumpy. This dress is really well tailored though and looks great on. :)
It's also the only thing I've bought for ages.

AFAIK Linea is House of Fraser's slightly better range. Congrats on finding that dress, it sounds very versatile.

Yes, I thought I would wear it for work but it looks a bit too good for work. I might wear it to go out in a few times before it gets relegated.

I bought some of this http://www.amazon.co.uk/W7-Prime-Magic-Camera-Ready/dp/B007EN9B42 and tried it for the first time this morning. Wahey! I think the last primer I tried was shit tbh - some woman in work lent it to me and it was like putting dough on my face, but this stuff goes on lovely and my face looks all smooth and that! It's actually hiding my acne scars!

Are you wearing it alone or under foundation? I have a couple of primers but have never thought to wear it without foundation over the top  :hmm:

I dyed my hair :hmm: I swear there were greys and the roots were horrific, no time for hairdresser so home job it was :D it's err dark....John frieda mousse thing.

Also got some mud masks. Tomorrow is mud masks and paperwork night. *le sigh* :( Will get nails shellacked if time allows, my fingernails are like talons atm, dunno what colour to go for this time??

I bought some Maybelline 7day gel nail colour. You're supposed to use the colour and the top coat for the 7 day thing, I didn't realise this and just bought the colour as I can't be arsed with top coat. Still, it has now lasted four or five days of hard usage (lots of cleaning and hand washing clothes) and has only chipped slightly. It's a winner.
Colour choice in my local boots was not great however, I hope they have other shades.

I think you should have bright red nails :)

A pair of fuzzy lined fake DMs. They appear to be called DC Markens. :D I bought a tall unlined pair last year for a tenner, fully expecting them to fall apart quickly, however they did me through a full five months of snow, ice and minus thirty degree conditions. Hopefully these will be just as good.

zenie - I'm wearing it under my brand-spanking-new Loreal mineral powder foundation. Fuck me. I feel like I just dragged meself into the modern age or something haha. Been wearing True Match for ages and it clags in my pores and erm 'fine lines' :hmm: and actually makes me look OLDER

So splashing out on all this new kit, and seeing how fucking ace it looks, has chuffed me to bits  I keep checking me chops in the mirror and thinking 'wow - it still looks great!' :D

I keep getting emails about lovely Autumn/winter clothes.... Normally I'd be mid spend now. There is some stunning stuff around this year. I want a 3/4 length jewel coloured coat, some wide legged trousers, some blocky heels in amythest or burgundy.... But not going back to work till May, no money, and no idea what shape/size I'll be. But proving very hard to resist. My go to work clothes website has suggested this http://www.farfetch.com/shopping/women/femme-geometric-print-coat-item-10478262.aspx?storeid=9475
Which I now really want....
