Something in red perhaps? Nice contrast to the blue/cream.So anyway, this skirt turned up today. I don't know what to wear with it apart from cream. Help? The spots are more cream/ivory than in the picture.
And why not? A bit 80s, but seeing as that's now retro it might just work.I have a hankering for dungarees.
But worn rolled up and with heels.

For some reason even when I was 10 short dungarees looked silly on me. Now it's getting colder I need to remember who to put like, outfits together, instead of throwing on a dress and pair of sandals
I think they look silly on me too. But I still love them.
You don't look stupid in them, IMHO they work with your proportions.I only have pictures of me wearing them when I'm actually looking stupid regardless of what I'm wearing. <snip>

I celebrated turning 40 by buying these:
They are. And I love themOoh, are they purple? I have the shiny purple and they are so ace, i wear them to all kinds of places as the lovely colour makes them smarter/funkier than standard DMs.
I embarrassed myself badly enough with them last time around - ethnic weave short dungarees, black tights and DMs. Ah the follies of youth.I bought some dungarees just the other day in Primark! They do both long and short ones. Yay for all the '90s stuff in the shops right now.

Unfortunately, they do not love my feet. I wore them all day Friday and was practically crying with pain by the time I got home. My feet are actually bruised.
I may have to do an acclimitisation in stages.
Not bothered either way - the main thing is that they grip without breakage. The ones I found also had the advantage of being 2 for 50p.You know you're on the forefront of fashion with those, Greebo? http://www.mcslondon.com/

ooh, yes, a full day was almost certainly a step too far!
you need some chunky boot socks and definitely slowly building up the wearing time.
i tried to wear them for short periods where i wouldn't have to walk/stand much at first.
now they are my default footwear, in winter at least.
