I wanted to try them on as I have chunky calves. I did actually go to Schuh/Office etc but they didn't have these boots in stock.

They are cheap and I've got some walking boots from there that are great but I'll probably avoid them in future.

I did manage to get the money but I had to stand my ground.

They wouldn't give me a refund in Southampton because I didn't have a receipt even though bournemouth had agreed a bank statement was sufficient.

They started off with not giving me any money back, then offered me a credit note. I eventually accepted this but made it clear I would be following up with a complaint and suddenly I had 20 quid in my hand. : D

It's just so annoying that I had to go all that way because they can't send something between stores.

He then told me as I was leaving that the boots I had exchanged were non-returnable as he'd done me a favour.

I pointed out my statutory rights and off I popped. He was such a prick.

They're not a shop I've ever heard of...what a prick!

I very rarely return shoes, because it's very hard to prove what's wear and tear and what's 'faulty' sometimes. :hmm:

I have taken back snapped heels when shoes have been only worn once, but shoes wearing out are tricky...:(

They're usually found in out of town shopping centres.

I never used to take stuff back but I've got sick of having expensive stuff break.

£65 was a huge amount for me to spend on boots.

I complained about a pair of Cavalli sunglasses when an arm snapped after a year (my husband said it was my stupid big head : D ) and got a full refund. After that I got a bit braver.

I had a heel snap on a pair of schuh stilettos and the bitch behind the counter inferred I was too fat to be wearing such thin heels. By the time I'd finished with them I had a letter of apology from their head of retail, and lots of vouchers (which I never used)....I was absolutely furious.
Actually my heart rate has gone up even writing this and It was years ago... Not sure why they got to me so very much

I've always had very good service from them in different shops. Obviously not so down south :(

My boots came and they are very nice. I really wish I had legs that were skinny enough to be able to tuck my jeans into them though.

Black stretchy pencil skirt and short sleeved black blouse that is pulled in at the waist and some black tights-all from Asda (l) for my JOB INTERVIEW tomorrow at 11.45:D
Good luck, not that you'll need it.
