I bought a pair of skinny trouser from DP in Monday. In a 14 for the first time in about 9 years! I do feel a bit naked in them though.

And today I got my Christmas pressie from my sis
But mine is better cos it has little goggly eyes in the hood.

I bought some Wolford purple tights with a wide red stripe up the sides today from TKMaxx. £7.50 reduced from £37.00
In the Halifax store they also have masses of Wolford lingerie and tops. I bought some red knickers and a black shirt top from there on Tuesday. I'm guessing lots of other branches will have the Wolford too.

I had a pair of tights like that for Halloween. They looked well hot and then I went and stuck my thumb through them the first time I went to the loo

Yesterday I went shopping. Got a blue striped top from new look for £7. One set of stripes is see through. It is also a size 12 when my tops are normally a size 16 so I think it supposed to be oversized but I like it the way it is on me.

I then went to Marks as I need new jeans but the changing rooms were closed so I threw the 5 pairs I was going to try on on a chair in a huff.

Then I went to DP and got a pair if jeggings and a pair of jeans (both size 14 )

And a Kangol leather bag for £17, although I don't know whether it will actually fit everything I need day to day in.

My lovely rocket dog boots have split on the seams. Brantano are going to change them but if it happens again I'll get a refund and buy another brand.

I now have to go to bloody Southampton (30+ miles) to get replacements as they don't have them in stock locally.

They're now in the sale (65 reduced to 45).

Do you think I have any chance at all of getting the difference back if I ask?

I'm just pissed off that I have to do a 70 mile round trip to get them because they said it will take 2 weeks to get them sent store to store and I've got no boots.

I did manage to get the money but I had to stand my ground.

They wouldn't give me a refund in Southampton because I didn't have a receipt even though bournemouth had agreed a bank statement was sufficient.

They started off with not giving me any money back, then offered me a credit note. I eventually accepted this but made it clear I would be following up with a complaint and suddenly I had 20 quid in my hand. : D

It's just so annoying that I had to go all that way because they can't send something between stores.

He then told me as I was leaving that the boots I had exchanged were non-returnable as he'd done me a favour.

I pointed out my statutory rights and off I popped. He was such a prick.
