oh that is flippin gorgeous, reminds me of this stopstaring one i've been drooling over for ages but could never afford.
didn't realise the skirt was pleated til i looked on the site - i've pretty much given up fitting hips/bust in the same dress, but that might just work

Peacocks. From the Pearl Lowe range so a bit more spenny than their usual stuff but still pretty cheap at £35.

I liked that one too but I already have a couple of lace dresses, including one fabulous vintage one.

heh i just went into town and tried both of them
they only had the first one in a 12 up (like on the website) and it was a lot too big also the colour of the collar didn't do me any favours, it's quite a yellowy cream. along with the dry clean thing, which i guess is to protect the pleating, i had to pass.
but i got the lacy one (also a 12, but nowhere near as much too big, and it has a tie at the back)
eta: it's verrry syntheticky though, i got an electric shock off it

Am worried now that it will be too big. Ordered it in a 14 because normally cheap shops are somewhat skimpy on the fit.
