This dress in M&S. Size 13 years, meaning it doesn't, like all adult sized maxidresses for the last couple of years, finish several inches beneath my feet. I'd swear you used to be able to get dresses that were just long-ish, but of late they've all decided to make them floor-grazing-on-a-model length, which is no good to me. Anyway, it fits brilliantly and looks much more expensive than it is! Can't really see the detail, but has nice African-style prints, and beading just under the bust.

Trying update my undergarments drawer. So far I have managed to get

- a lacy bra ON SALE that makes me rack look awesome

This turned up finally! I was a bit concerned because lots of people said it was too tight on them but not only does it fit I look AWESOME in it. Gotta work out what shoes to wear with it now

It's arrived at last (greener than it looks in the picture, and the flowers are more wine red than purple). VP was told (by the catalogue) that the manufacturer had hugely underestimated quite how many people would want it:

I kind of just shoved my boob meat into the middle of V neck thing. The chest part is quite fitted on the dress and in some danger of giving me squashy boob but my cleavage looks pretty good so,

Quite a trawl from the charity shop - first two were £3.75 for the cardie and £2.99 for the mini skirt, the rest were £1.99 each for the white top (which is a Karen Millen - it's a tad snug but pish posh!) and green dress thing (looks better on, it has slashed sleeves ) then £4.75 for the skirt

I just went and spent £160 in New Look, H&M and DP. Stuff for the summer. I haven;t tried anything on yet so will have fun when I get home tonight and will post what is getting kept.

I just went to put the sailor pants in the wash whilst wearing my glasses. They are not Jaeger at all, they are Jigsaw
I'm very relieved to know I don't own any Jaeger and I may start wearing my glasses in future when shopping

Out of my lot of money spent, about two thirds needs to go back. I got three dresses and a top out of my haul.

Two of the things I need to take back were in the sale so if they won't give me a refund and only store credit, tomorrow I am going to get a pair of blue and turquoise wedges. As long as they are in my size.

Bought a couple of bits in the H&M sale yesterday. One of the skirts didn't fit so took it back and exchanged for 2 dresses. Except they refunded the skirt at full price so I got full refund for the skirt plus 2 dresses for free WINNING
