I'm a 31 inside leg and there's a bout 6-8 inches from my waist to my inside leg so.....the petticoat should come about 10 inches from my ankles.

A rather nice Ducti canvas bag for work, small enough not to get in the way but big enough for a few books, pencils and other assorted bits that I might wish to throw inside.
