They emailed me again (pretty promptly) blaming the shipping and asking for a bit more patience. Pretty clear and apologetic so gonna give them more time. It is annoying but eBay is rarely an exact science and I want my BLING so much that I am happy to be patient a little longer.

I think they're pulling a fast one, it shouldn't take any more than 3 weeks from the US. Get a number and you can find out yourself.
Or report them to paypal.
Yeah, I paid on the 27/03/2008 so Sunday will be a month.
The problem is that I have not seen these trainers anywhere else. I understand that the guy is not running the postal companies but he is reluctant to give me any tracking details, just asking me to be patient.

The problem is that I have not seen these trainers anywhere else. I understand that the guy is not running the postal companies but he is reluctant to give me any tracking details, just asking me to be patient.
Report it to paypal, open a dispute.
He's probably sent it suface mail to save money and not got it tracked but if you leave it to long paypal won't take your dispute.

The guy has sold over 10,000 items with 99%+ feedback so doubt it is a 'fast one' but is annoying.
