That is nice

(I've got a one in that style too, but no poodles for me ;))

I think I might prefer the green though! :hmm: and how could I not have stuff with dogs on when goiven the choice?!

What colour's yours? have I seen it? Why aren't you wearing your dresses biddly?

OMG!

I have already seen about 5 things I want!

Badgers is gonna hate you for giving me that link! :D

I spent 170 quid, but I'd got my work bonus so justified it

Considering those trainers he's bought I think you've got reason to buy some nice things :D
Maybe we need to do a net petticoat session then - me, you and Spangle need one and none of us want to buy one for £40!
What's all this talk about petticoats? What do you need them for? Do I need/want one? :hmm:

If you prefer the green then don't do it. You should ask them to design a staffy dress :D

Mine's red too, but with roses and skulls. You haven't seen it, because I haven't seen you for ages! And I haven't been out anywhere to wear it yet! :-(

they go under the dresses/circle skirts and make them stick out properly. I wouldn't go to work in one like but my Vivan Holloway frock looks much better with one and hides the squidge from the boning in the bodice  :D

Do you urgently require one too, B?!

I have a circle skirt, so I'm thinking I might  would it make my bum look even bigger? :D

hehehe boning in the bodice :D

that's the one I really liked, shame it's too big zenie :(

collectif stuff always sells well on ebay though :)

Lovely frocks zenie!
Maybe we need to do a net petticoat session then - me, you and Spangle need one and none of us want to buy one for £40! I have a thread saved which gives pointers where to buy the netting and Tanky has the skillz for knocking them together...not that we'd expect her to do the lot! :D

Hmmm :hmm:

Yeh totally, I'm gonna get my old lady on it, she's got rentacrates full of old patterns, gotta be something in there so I'll give you a shout. I can use a sewing machine but haven't done for some time

Well we'll have to do something about that and go out soon, life's just too busy at the moment!

Petticoats just help it hang better, circle skirts can flap about a bit and look funny, but then they can look fine. Depends.

I don't think it'll make your arse look bigger:hmm:

I wanted to be Lily Allen, that's who that dress in green reminded me of. Bloody gorgeous it is! :(

I've emailed em so we shall see!! They have a shop in Camden Tanky.....:cool:

Nah - it makes the waist look smaller. You arse doesn't figure as you can't tell it's there under all that material :D

Petticoat patterns would be ace zenie - I'd only be guessing.

Ah, I know what you mean about it hanging a little funny... it's ace to spin around in though :D although it does show off your knickers

haha feel like a little girl doing a twirl did ya?! :D

Still no sign of the trainer bling....
I feel like pacing up and down the office sighing and stuff!

In fact I think I will

hmm..I ordered some rifts after you from the states and mine came today. How long ago did you order them? It can take up to two weeks form the states sometimes. :(

I have a net peticoat Whahahaha!!!

Ok... it's not one of the really nice ones but it does have polka dots on it! And it came from a charity shop...

Yeh I'll see what she can come up with, have you got any pics of the kind of stuff we want (but we don't wanna pay 40 quid for) that I can show her?

Maybe we can have a stitch and bitch at someone's house? :)
WTF's wrong with me, I'm going all stepford housewife :mad:

Maybe we'll just get Tanky to make them all, ply her with gin or something.

*steals boohoo's petticoat*

A charity shop might be a good idea if I can find ohe and make patterns from it....I think I might be getting a bit away with meself there!

*calms down*

I reckon it's a rather fiddley thing to make - as it is several layers and they are all tiered... In terms of time, effort and material, it would be cheaper to buy one!

Gently gathering five tiers of fabric- twice ... :(

If you have the patience though - it's worth a go!

i reckon the net skirt I have might be copiable... if done in an easy manner...

eme has one that I'm sure we could borrow to copy as well - the material is really cheap according to pinkmonkey and she really knows her fashiony stuff that lady. I'm sure she said you could buy it ready gathered from some fabric shop in soho.

I'm willing to try in any case- it's going under the dress after all.

While waiting for my motorbike to be fixed yesterday I bought a new dress
erez

and cardigan (but in black)
erez

and am now wearing them, despite them being totally inappropriate for a chilly spring day in the office (after employing tit tape and buttoning my cardigan up, I still had to put a scarf on to preserve my modesty...).

oh wow they're lovely :) where are they from?

I haven't been shopping in ages :( I need help again :(

AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Trainers :(

Am now off the rest of the week so if they do not arrive today then I won't know till Monday next week!!!

it can be bought ready tiered from the Cloth House on Berwick Street- whether it cost as much as actually buying one is another matter....

I'm now freezing and half the tit tape has come off already. New thread alert...
