Crisp sandwiches: how and with what?

I like crunchy peanut butter sandwiches with an extra sprinkling of peanuts and a slice of cheese inside.

one slice of dry white bread, bag of XL Beef crisps, crush up crisps in packet, pour into 'cupped' bread, squash and eat. Or these if no XL Beef:

White bread, loads of butter, S&V crisps (or ready salted if S&V not available), press down before eating for that satisfying crunchy sound:cool:

Its the juxtaposition of crunchy and smooth which for me is ham and cheese or egg, tomato, mayonaise and grated cheese. half pack of crisps per sarnie.

The potential to discover a jagged gum ripping crisp embedded/hidden in some cheese just adds to the experience

White bread only, if I'm feeling extravagant a white flowery bap

Egg/crisp sandwichs best eaten after unpacking them on a long family car journey, for dessert, Nannas trifle out of an old magarine tub

I have a feeling I used to make my crisp sandwiches with butter and Marmite. (White bread, salt and vinegar crisps.)

Crisp sandwiches are crisp sandwiches, Marmite sandwiches are Marmite sandwiches, they CANNOT AND SHOULD NOT be combined!

Doorstep of crusty white bread, butter if poss (spread will just about do) , smoky bacon crisps in a triple layer, optional brown sauce. Squash down before eating.

I am not adverse to the crisp baguette.

White bread (well, that 50/50 stuff really), cheese and onion crisps, salad cream as I don't like butter. Fill with loads of crisps, squash and voila.

I love cheese and onion and grated cheese sandwiches, sometimes with peanut butter but mostly with just a thin spread of butter. I have it about once a month and I always have a can of either cherry coke or dr pepper to wash it down.

Where are the crisps?

I've met Crispy, he was pretty fried tbf but not sandwich-like.

Your pathetic attempts to ingratiate yourself in this thread have been noted. Heathen!

Allright allright.. peanut butter and a spicy dorito crisp sandwich is also pretty damn satisfying.

Lol, so the 'how and with what' part of the question was only to be answered with bread and butter. Wow, you were planning on this being a short and boring thread then...

Wonderfully nasty Shiphams/Sutherland's beef spread first, add crisps. Apply pressure. Nomgasm.

Anyone give me a lift to Millenium Field tomorrow? I'll go halves on petrol but would really love to get there early as the queue for registrations might be long.

The how referred to the manufacturing of the sandwich, the with what referred to the butter/margarine/flavour of the crisp part of the equation. At least in my head it did.
