Do walkers still do them ones in black packets? What were they, barbecue or something else? Anyway, they were great in crisp sandwiches. I think I had them in either white or brown, depending on what mum had in at the time. Lovely.
These days, it's only ever wholewheat bread of some sort, because that's all I have in. Any flavour crisp will do, but the stronger the better. I tend to have them 'dry' with no spread of any kind though. But after reading this thread, perhaps I'm doing it wrong
I shall investigate a 'moist' version later. (<-- that sounds all kinds of wrong.)
They do only seem to have BBQ in the mega huge multi packs.
I only ever buy white sliced shitty bread for the purpose of crisp sandwiches
