Assange seeks asylum in Ecuador embassy, London

He may have actually raped her under Swedish law, there are plenty of blokes who will try and slip off a condom in the act or try and slip you another shag with no condom while you are asleep. He may not have known that you actually stand a chance of getting done for that in Sweden as likely he wouldn't have checked the law in every country he was visiting - chances are that he would in this case be in denial about it being 'proper' rape.

:( This post is disturbing and ever so sad. The fact that there are plenty of blokes that would :(

Wtf has that got to do with me replying to your question about how things happen in court?

And now he's saved Egypt? I'm sure you never used to be like this. You don't actually know the first thing about this case do you?
There isn't a case as such to follow is there, I just wonder why some people on here take it at face value, I'm far from being into conspiracy theories but this stinks.

There isn't a case to follow? Are you serious?

Who is taking anything at face value on here other than you? You don't appear to have any idea what it's about, about any of the legal processes and have just decided it's a big old conspiracy because for some reason you think assange is great.

I think is it is an incredibly weak attempt by the US secret service to smear him because he humiliated them internationally by exposing the hand they played in corrupt Arab regimes and his small part in igniting the Arab Spring. I wonder what's Bradley Mannings take on it, we should ask him.

Whats been shown to be weak here is some peoples ability to keep their principals intact rather than sacrifice the moral high ground for the sake of protecting a personality who hides behind stuff in a manner that utterly undermines the cause he claims to fight for.

Selective accountability, disgusting. Playing the pseudo-martyr in a manner that undermines the cause rather than draws attention to the methods and injustices of the enemy, idiotic. Undermining the institution you tried to create, pathetic. Inverting the role of victim and perpetrator to save your own neck, indefensible. Drawing attention away from the substance of the leaks, or the plight of Bradley Manning, perverse.

yeah, those thick bints making the complaints must have been nobbled. i mean, they were wikileaks volunteers. they've obviously got something against him that they would be persuaded to make it up. women, eh? you can't trust 'em.

no, cos whenever a woman alleges rape unless she's got some real evidence it didn't happen. works for you, does it?

it's always annoying when you have no choice, ideologically and politically, but to support someone you have personal distate for

So you're a promoter of the "Assange had no previous history of dubious treatment of women. This was wholly fabricated to spike his guns" school, then?
Pity the timeline doesn't agree with you. :)

I wonder what's Bradley Mannings take on it, we should ask him.

Why? He's irrelevant to Assange's fate.

So Assange is now the political Polanski  "But he's so taaaalented..."

Poor post-event excuse usually deployed by liberals - "I deplore sex crimes against children, but Roman should be made an exception of. He's given so much to the world!". Yeah, including trauma to the teenage girls he seduced and molested, the shitcunt.

And I bet the CIA bunged a load of wedge their way, the filthy whoring sluts.

Might give this 'being quite good at one thing stopping you getting done for other things' a go. Can play a mean 12 bar blues - should allow me to nick jars of coffee from Morrisons with impunity. In fact if anyone pipes up, my team will accuse them of being in league with the the enemies of blues music.

Tortuous analogy ends
