20+ killed in university in Virginia US

What no Bush

It's just a bubbling little blister on the festering limb of a sick society. cause and effect an all that.;)
Getting to the root causes would cost too much, involve some real self searching and probably undermine the fabric of American society.
Very sad for the parents of these kids:(

*anyone seen Trigger lately;)

When the lights go out in the rest of the world
What do our cousins say
Theyre playing in the sun and having fun, fun, fun
Till daddy takes the gun away
Cheers Bill

*Here's Thomias with the weather

While much more about this story will undoubted be revealed over time, I’d like to take this opportunity to set one thing straight. There is a photo of an Asian man getting cuffed (arrested) being circulated on the AP with the following caption: (thisislondon.co.uk)

An unidentified man is arrested. It is unclear what role he played in the shooting

The crack newsteam at 8asians wants to be first to report that the Asian man seen being cuffed in this photo is Shaozhuo Cui, a photographer for the VT student newspaper. HE IS NOT “THE SHOOTER!” The only thing Shao can be accused of shooting is photographs. Without having heard from him yet, I assume that maybe he got too close to the action before the police took him down.

The photo of the asian man being cuffed is also used in the guardian: 22:30 http://www.guardian.co.uk/usa/story/0,,2058524,00.html

It is a combination of various factors.

To summarize a few

Competitiveness is the absolute norm
Egotripping indoctrinated since childhood
"Free speech" translates into "do and say what I want no matter what and all the rest can drop dead"
Soldiers are Heroes by Default
Economic succes = social succes =No such succes = you are a looser.
USA nr.1 = All US'ers Nr. 1.
Failing to feel Nr.1 is devastating for the Ego.
Life = A Video Game
Hollywood = Reality

(list open for change and/or additions)

salaam.

Can you come up with a similar list as to why some people in your part of the world cut the heads off people while those people are still alive?

Another student, Tiffany Otey, said she and her classmates initially thought the gunshots were construction noise until they heard screaming and police officers with bulletproof vests and machine guns entered her classroom.

"They were telling us to put our hands above our head and if we didn't cooperate and put our hands above our heads they would shoot," Otey said. "I guess they were afraid, like us, like the shooter was going to be among one of us."

must remember - don't feed the trolls

If a person is posting a criticism of the source one culture's violence, it is perfectly appropriate to question the causes of violence in that person's culture. Turn-about and all that.

Apparently the killer lined up some of his victims and excuted them in cold blood :( ,as long as the Yanks have crazy fucked up gun laws this will always happen

That's not true, Canadians have gun laws similar to ours and they don't pull this kind of shit.

I don't think there are many beheadings anymore in Europe - and that's where Aldebaran is from.

Ever heard of Marc Lepine and the Ecole Polytechnique Massacre ?

How much beheading did the British Army do during WW2?

I doubt any, but I'm sure the Native American Indians did loads in their war against the new white folks that showed up.

mmm... No. I was born and raised in the Middle East, which is where my nationality and main residence is. My late mother was European and of course here entire family is. (Which led to me being sent back and forth since I was a baby and having done a substantial part of my higher education in Europe too.)

I suppose it was the lonely resident of my IL list who got on about "beheadings"... Which of course has nothing to do with subject of this thread and possible underlying causes for these events.

salaam.

Listing some rough and extremely summarised, hence extremely simplified ideas about possible contributing factors to extreme behaviour is not "criticism of the source of one culture's violence".
It is listing possible contributing factors and should be looked at in relation the academic disciplines sociology (first of all) and criminology (next).
People's failure to make such obvious connection can't be my concern.

salaam.

It appears to be a particularly dark part of the universal male psyche. Some perceived loss of face on top of a myriad other slights leads the perpetrator to take his ultimate revenge on all around and go out in a 'blaze of glory'. This happens all over the world. To claim it is peculiar to US society is just ignorant. :(

Could this be an NWO stunt?

I apologise in advance to Donna for posting this, but look at the timing. Waco, Oklahoma, Port Arthur, Columbine and now this - all in the third week of April. If it's a coincidence it's a mighty big one.

Well, no beheadings but they gassed Arab and Kurd tribes in the aftermath of WWI and burned down their villages. It is entirely possible that they tortured people too. Then there's the Six Counties....

I heard that the gun laws in Virginia (which has some of the most lax gun laws in the US) has recently allowed people to buy one gun a month (instead of 20 a month). A question needs to be asked: who on earth needs to buy one gun a month?

If anyone is interested there is a timeline of worldwide school shootings, most of them occur in spring which is odd, and most of them in America....

which is bloody obvious!

Aye, these shootings tend to happen mainly in schools. There are a few which happen in shopping malls and work places but schools and institutions of education seem more prone to this sort of thing.

And the torture rape mutilation and murder of thousands of uppity woggos in 1950's Kenya. But let's leave JC2's derail where it belongs eh?

What do you think happens when a shell explodes and shrapnel flies through the air at head height ?

Alex Jones (god what a fuckwit) was blaming the NWO before the bodies had been idenitified. Fucking vulture.
http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/april2007/160407blackop.htm His proof? Thomas Hamilton , who carried out Dunblaine was alledgly a freemason.

Why what happens in the third week of April? Why do they do this? Whats the point? Why does everything have to be a fucking conspiracy theory.

Why doesn't somebody open a thread like this everytime a bomb explodes in some market in Iraq ? 30 people is a small number there, we must value all lives the same way

i agree with that, cos its americans the whole world is supposed to take notice , not a nice thing to happen, but if the shooter had shelled campus or launched a helicopter attack much more newsworthy. but only if it happens in the US does 33 people getting shot provoke these sort of reactions from a lot of the US population.
