So, LAX terminal 7. Many US lounges are woefully lacking and charge for drinks and food as they are accessible to the hoi polloi with their frequent traveller cards and such things. So United has come up with the Polaris Lounge, a true international business lounge, for long haul passengers at the proper end of the plane, it’s nice, manned bar, buffet and a la carte restaurant, with decent views of the apron too.

I would love to return, I stayed there in the youth hostel in Kirkwall when I was 18. I loved Hoy. I have a friend in Stromness who posts beautiful pictures of the place and the wildlife.

I has these sort of bricks on some steps leading up to a house I lived in in Southampton. I was told they were lining bricks from a decommissioned dry dock, hence there were a lot of them repurposed around Southampton.
